Great question! The nursing curriculum teaches students to advocate for patient care & safety. But as employees, these same nurses are silenced & threatened w/disciplinary measures for speaking out. It happens b/c nursing is a female dominated profession #suppression #misogyny

I'll be honest, I didn't know these many nurses were racists until I started posting about racism in the Facebook nursing groups. It's truly scary because these are my nursing colleagues. We need serious anti-racism education as a matter of urgency.
