It's #FieldFriday! Today we head to our Mountain Lake Biological Station (MLBS) site in Domain 07 to collect data on small mammals ("smams"). Sarah Szito and Dylan Peters document more than 40 smams before releasing them and doing it all again the next day!

Busy day volunteering with @BirdMonitors today. I rescued ~15 birds and recovered ~20 dead birds, like this Yellow-bellied sapsucker. During spring & fall migration, turn lights out to help reduce injuries and deaths from window strikes. #birdcollisions
