So the @WHO and the #US recognised the UK-made Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid 19 vaccine called #Covishield in India.
But the #UK discriminates against Indians who are vaccinated with #CovishieldVaccine and forces them into quarantine??
What kind of logic is this?

Ok so the #UK finally approved #Covishield but still continues to discriminate against Indians forcing mandatory 10-day quarantining?? Why?
Countries which have used Covishield (made in India) aren't forced to undergo this so why do Indians have to suffer through this??

@DrSJaishankar @trussliz The #UKGovernment must recognise the #CovishieldVaccine (which was made by them!) instead of subjecting Indians to quarantine!
There will be repercussions for such a racist and non-sensical policy!

@GahlautManish @DrSJaishankar @trussliz Fully vaccinated Indians(Covishield or Covaxin) travelling to UK will be treated as unvaccinated and have to go undergo 10 days quarantine followed by a test. @DrSJaishankar must push hard on this with his UK counterpart and countries must trust each other on their vax process.

Suggest imposing similar conditions on all UK diplomatic passport holders as well as those employed by their Health Ministry. Ordinary UK citizens, not responsible for such silly stand may be given all courtesy.

@DrSJaishankar @trussliz For UK not to recognise #COVISHIELD force Indian travellers & students to the UK to lie when they have been fully vaccinated should be illegal, expensive multiple RTPCR tests & home quarantine causing massive mentally health issue, colossal waste of time! @ttabassumcec @FCDOGovUK @DominicRaab It’s really frustrating and an unfortunate situation. I applied for #ATAS on 25th June and it’s been over 2 months and I haven’t got my certificate yet. My MRes course starts on 27Th September and I can’t do it remotely either. Please look into this issue @FCDOGovUK #ATASDELAY

@jessyharv @FCDOGovUK @DominicRaab @rachela_hall, I am one of the students who are on the verge of missing the deadline for enrollment due to not obtaining the ATAS certificate that I applied for in mid June. ATAS team ain't answering, the entire situation is causing damage to my mental health as I am losing time
