@aravind@sanchita_goel Yes sir, the bad roads I have to endure every day in Bangalore, for years now, are just a figment of my imagination. Triggered by international psyops. Roads are world class, hospitals are world class, if only we were not under the influence of externals. Sad
@CitizenPulseX@KavithaReddyKR Schools are part of the community. Only in India do we cry about schools working as they should. In civilized countries like the US and Australia, school roads are blocked for normal cars during school drop off hours
@CitizenPulseX@KavithaReddyKR Would you also mention that this jam happens only for 20 mins in the morning? Or does that fact come in the way of such baits?
You have made it look like this is the fact all day, but it's not.
Please don't make us lose trust on you.
@centerofright@narendramodi Sir, you are the kind of person who will keep supporting the govt even if your own child is impacted by govt corruption.
We are already in a dictatorship if we have people like you, willing to be dictated, and willing to keep a party's interest above the country's.
@Fintech03 What bullshit is this? Keep doing this we are SanathanaDharma pro max shit and that's why we are a country struggling to get out of the poverty trap. Idiot.
🧵 Zee’s sudden interest in sport
Why’s nobody asking what’s Zee’s sudden interest in sport broadcast and launching new sports channels?
Ok fine — they are preparing a budget for FIFA rights. And then what?
They’re launching 8 channels to buy FIFA or is there a larger plan to stay ready when the IPL / ICC / BCCI media rights come up for renewal?
It’s going to be that time of the year soon, no?
And if there’s actually any kind of a Big
Picture to this, who’s putting the money on the table?
Can’t be Zee alone, right?
Let’s look at some numbers:
* In 2022, Zee’s share price had peaked at around 330.
* In 2023, it peaked at around 300.
These were years when the Zee-Sony merger was the most talked about love affair.
In the subsequent years, almost immediately after the possibility of a merger died, the share price saw a free fall — from around 250 in 2024 to below 100 in 2025.
This is 2026 and the price lurks at 89.
So what’s the sudden enthusiasm?
Clearly, the Sony merger is not coming back to the table. Then who’s the new love in Zee’s life?
—
Doubt if this is public yet — Zee served JioStar a notice around 10 days ago to pull out of the broadband service. I don’t know the reasons but I’m waiting for some business journalist to tell us more about it.
—
Further, someone’s got to be fuelling this current sports broadcast plan, no?
Is it the shareholders asking why Zee is not doing anything in sport?
That’s because the GEC IPs aren’t really in the green and sport (read: cricket) broadcast is any which way the only space that’s making noise.
Frustrated shareholders can always force the board to act.
—
One thing is for sure — if Zee’s bigger idea is to stay prepared for any kind of cricket rights, then I’m willing to ask already if they have any kind of backing from a player that we haven’t seen or heard of as yet.
I, for one, would clearly like to know more about the reasons for their sudden enthusiasm in sport. Until then, I’m not going to read a lot into their FIFA interest. At best, even if they pull it off, it’ll only be a stunt.
Let’s see what else is in store.
👍🏾
@va_a14@RaniSandhy90 Yes it's a democratic country and I can call you a bihari beggar and ask you to go back to the toilet you came from.
Please don't get offended, it's just an opinion I have about people like you.
