ለከተሞች እድገትና ለህዝብ ተጠቃሚነት ዓይነተኛ ሚና ያላቸው የመሰረተ ልማት ዝርጋታ እንቅስቃሴዎች መፋጠናቸውን ተከትሎ በባሕርዳር ከተማ ሊገነባ የታሰበው የ22 ኪሎ ሜትር የኮሊደር ልማት የአብክመ ርዕሰ መስተዳድር አረጋ ከበደ ፣በብልፅግና ፓርቲ የአማራ ክልል ቅ/ፅ/ቤት ኃላፊ አቶ ይርጋ ሲሳይ ፣የባሕርዳር ከተማ ከንቲባ አቶ ጎሹ እንዳላማው ፣የአማራ ክልል ዋና አፈ ጉባኤ ፋንቱ ተስፋየ እና ሌሎች የክልል ፣የከተማና ክፍለ ከተማ ከፍተኛ አመራሮች እንዲሁም የኢንጅነሪንግ ዘርፉ አማካሪዎችና ሙያተኞች በተገኙበት ተጀምሯል።

የባሕርዳር ከተማ ተ/ም ከንቲባ አቶ ጎሹ እንዳላማው በአጀማመር ስነ ስርዓቱ መክፈቻ ስነ ስርዓት ላይ እንደገለፁት ባህርዳር የህዝቦች ማህበረ-ኢኮኖሚ መስተጋብር ማሳለጫ የሆነች ምርጥ የአፍሪካ መናገሻ ውብና ለሁለንተናዊ እንቅስቃሴ ምቹ ከተማ እንድትሆን ታስቦ በከተማዋ የሚገነባ እያንዳንዱ የመሰረተ ልማት ዘርፍ ጥራትና ዘላቂነትን የተላበሰ እንዲሆን በማድረግ በኩል ትልቅ ትኩረት እንደተሰጠው ተናግረዋል።

ስለሆነም ለስማርት ባህርዳር ዋነኛ መገለጫ የሆነውን የኮሊደር ልማት ውጤታማ ለማድረግ ከደጅ አዝማች በላይ ዘለቀ አየር ማረፊያ በመሀል ከተማ ጊዮርጊስ አድርጎ እስከ አባይ ማዶ ገብርኤል ቤተ ክርስቲያን እንዲሁም በአዲስ አበባ መግቢያ ከመዳህኒዓለም ቤተ ክርስቲያን እስከ አዲሱ የአባይ ድልድይ እና ከጊዮርጊስ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ፓፒረስ ድረስ የሚሸፍን ሲሆን ይህም እጅግ በተዋበና የመኪና ፣የብስክሌት ፣የእግረኛና መሰል የአረንጓዴ ልማቶችን ያካተተ ዲዛይን ሰርቶ በማጠናቀቅ በዛሬው ዕለት ማስጀመር መቻላቸውን ገልፀዋል።

ይህንም የኮሊደር ልማት ግንባታ በከፍተኛ ህዝባዊ ተሳትፎ ታግዞ ግንባታውን በፈጣን ርብርብ በማጠናቀቅ ከተማዋ ለሁለንተናዊ የህዝቦች እድገት ማሳለጫ ተምሳሌት ቀዳሚ ምልክት እንድትሆን ታቅዶና በልዩ ትኩረት ተይዞ እየተሰራ እንደሆነ ተናግረዋል።

የአብክመ ርዕሰ መስተዳድር አቶ አረጋ ከበደ ዛሬ በተጀመረው የባህርዳር ከተማ የኮሊደር ልማት ዝግጅት ተገኝተው እንደገለፁት እንደ ባህርዳር ያሉ ውብ ከተሞችን ዘላቂነት ባለው የመሰረተ ልማት አውታር ታግዞ በማልማት ለኑሮ ፣ለቱሪዝም ፍሰት ፣ለንግድና ገበያ ልማት ፣ለትምህርትና ልዩ ልዩ ጥናትና ምርምሮች ማዕከል ብሎም ለኢትዮጵያና አፍሪካ ኮንፍረሶች መናገሻና መሰል ማህበራዊ ፣ኢኮኖሚያዊና ፖለቲካዊ መስተጋብሮች ማሳለጫ ሊሆኑ በሚችሉ የኮሊደር ልማቶች የማበልፀግ ስራ በመጀመሩ መደሰታቸውን ገልፀው ይህ ልማት በጥራትና በተቀመጠለት ጊዜ ተጠናቆ ለሚፈለገው ዓላማ እንዲውል የመላው ህዝብ የነቃ ተሳትፎና ያልተቋረጠ ድጋፍ ተጠናክሮ መቀጠል እንዳለበት ተናግረዋል።

ስለሆነም ይህች ውብ ከተማ ባህርዳር በተፈጥሮ የተሰጣትን ፀጋ በሰው ሰራሽ ልማቶች በማጀብ ሳቢና ማራኪነቷን በማስፋትና የበለጠ በማጠናከር ሁሉ ዓቀፍ የሆነ ተመራጭነትን ይዛ የዘመነች ምቹ ከተማ እንድትሆን ሁላችንም የምንችለውን ጥረት ማድረግ እንደሚገባ የገለፁ ሲሆን ይህ የኮሊደር ልማት እንደ ባህርዳር ሁሉ በሌሎች የክልላችን ሜትሮፖሊታንት ከተሞችም ተጠናክሮ የሚቀጥል መሆኑን ተናግረዋል።
