Among the worst damage that the AI hype train has delivered to itself in the past years is creating the illusion that there is no value in a computer science degree.

To be fair, a lot of people thought that CS = coding, which is totally wrong. And CS programs absolutely need to be reformed and adjusted to account for advances in AI.

But constantly ranting about AI replacing software engineers and destroying all jobs was absolutely not helpful either.

This is the first case of its kind in UK criminal justice history.

A Derbyshire officer allegedly used AI to fabricate evidential material across multiple cases not one. The Crown Prosecution Service is now reviewing every conviction those cases touched.

Three days ago, the UK government announced PoliceAI.

£140 million. a national AI centre for policing. 40 new facial recognition vans. AI tools for every force in England and Wales by 2027. the official goal: "get responsible AI into the hands of officers."

Three days later: criminal investigation into an officer for using AI to manufacture evidence.

the interim director of PoliceAI put out a statement today.

"our work is rooted in transparency."

97% of all criminal investigations in the UK now involve digital evidence. that's this year's figure.

AI is already being used to summarise case files, triage evidence, and assist with disclosure.

Honestly, I think the breakup may have revealed something important.

One purpose of courtship is not just romance. It is to discover whether two people are truly compatible before marriage.

The issue here may not even be the boxer.

For a man to take a woman to meet his mother usually signals serious intentions.

And when his mother made a request, rightly or wrongly, the response gave everyone a glimpse into how future disagreements might be handled.

Respectfully, if washing the underwear was completely out of the question while dating, what happens after marriage if the husband falls sick, is hospitalized, becomes disabled for a period, or they don’t have a washing machine available?

Would the answer still be no?

The same question can be asked in reverse:

If the wife became sick and needed help with something unpleasant, would the husband step up?

Marriage has a way of requiring people to do things they never imagined doing.

Nobody should be forced into a role they don’t want.

But courtship is exactly the time to discover those differences before saying “I do.”

In that sense, perhaps both of them learned something valuable.

If you look at Christians with a secular mind, what they do is a sign of mental illness.

How do pastors heal from church hurt when they are still in the congregation that hurt them and how do they process betrayal from their community when they can't leave especially when that community is their calling?
