The France-Africa relationship is so wonderful that it comes with disrespect and a sprinkle of racism. Africa has given so much to France in terms of mineral resources that Macron feels completely at home, far too comfortable, to the point where he addresses heads of state like children. And that's a great thing, of course, because that's exactly how a partnership works between a horse and its rider.
Bread that doesn’t rot, destroys your health.
If that bread lasts more than 3 days without going bad: you're not eating food. You're eating preservatives in disguise.
Real bread molds within 2-3 days
Natural ingredients = FLOUR, WATER, YEAST, SALT.
That’s it.
My final engagement in South Africa was yesterday in Johannesburg with my interaction with Nigerians in the diaspora. The discussions were frank, emotional, and deeply reflective of the realities confronting our people both at home and abroad.
The conversation was interrupted several times by passionate questions bordering on diplomacy, the treatment of Nigerians in foreign countries, the political situation back home, and the growing desire of many young Nigerians abroad to return home and contribute meaningfully to nation-building, if only the environment becomes conducive.
I also reminded our people that the respect any citizen receives abroad is often tied to how respected their nation is at home. A country that works, protects its institutions, upholds justice, and cares for its people naturally commands global respect. This is why leadership and governance must remain people-oriented, accountable, and rooted in competence and integrity.
While acknowledging the frustrations and pains many expressed, I emphasized the need for all of us to continue to conduct ourselves within the ambit of the law, irrespective of the provocation or difficulties we face. Nation-building demands discipline, civic responsibility, and the willingness to pursue change through constructive engagement.
The interaction further reinforced my belief that Nigerians across the world remain hopeful about the future of our nation despite the present challenges. Our task as leaders is to inspire that hope with sincerity, measurable action, and a commitment to building a secure, productive, and inclusive Nigeria.

Mel Gibson spent $70M of his own money making two consecutive films in languages nobody on Earth speaks conversationally. They generated $733M at the box office.
The Passion of the Christ. Aramaic, Hebrew, and Latin. $30M self-financed after every studio in Hollywood passed. Gibson marketed and distributed it himself through Newmarket Films. It opened on Ash Wednesday 2004 and grossed $612M worldwide, held the domestic R-rated box office record for 20 years, and remains the highest-grossing self-financed film in cinema history. His personal take cleared $400M.
Two years later he did it again. Apocalypto. Entirely in Yucatec Maya. $40M budget. Zero Hollywood actors. His lead, Rudy Youngblood, was working at a Lowe's in Texas when Gibson pulled him from a general casting call. Youngblood had less than a month to learn Yucatec Maya, performed every stunt himself including a 175-foot waterfall free fall and sprinting in front of a live 200-pound jaguar. The stunt coordinator called him "the purest athlete I've ever met." The film tripled its budget at $120M worldwide.
The part nobody talks about: the language barrier was the competitive advantage. When your audience can't understand a word of dialogue, every frame has to communicate through blocking, expression, sound design, and camera work. Both films play identically whether you speak English, Mandarin, or Swahili. The subtitles are almost beside the point.
Two dead languages. Two unknown casts. $733M. Gibson funded every dollar himself because nobody in the industry believed the math would work.
The math worked.
Our orogbo (bitter kola) was studied by Pfizer researchers as a potential treatment for Ebola.
Yes, that Pfizer.
The compound kolaviron demonstrated antiviral activity. They investigated it, they didn't tell you about it.
Our grandpa ate it anyway.
OSUN STATE: Yesterday, Naija Confra received reports that the current number 2 man of Eiye (Flying Ostrich) in Osun State Polytechnic, Iree (Sycamore Nest), was arrested with 3 pist0ls. His name is Tyson. He was reportedly on his way to deliver the gvns to someone before he was arrested. He was also sh0t in the leg and has been transferred to Osogbo.
Tyson has reportedly been singing beautifully in police custody, and the information gotten from his beautiful songs has been used to arrest other people. Tyson’s arrest has sent a shockwave through the school, as many Eiye cultists are now vowing to reject cultism.
Non-cultists (free men), learn from this. Reject Cultism.

TROOPS OF OPERATION HADIN KAI RESCUE 92 KIDNAPPED CIVILIANS, FOIL IMPROVISED EXPLOSIVE DEVICE, AMBUSH , IN SWIFT BURATAI RESCUE OPERATION
Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have demonstrated their unrelenting commitment to the protection of civilians, executing a swift and decisive rescue operation that freed 92 kidnapped victims from BH/ISWAP terrorists along the Buratai–Kamuya road, Biu Local Government Area, Borno State, on Saturday 23 May 2026. At approximately 1122 hours, alert troops of the 135 Special Forces Battalion deployed at Dutse Kura detected BH/ISWAP terrorists forcibly herding civilians and vehicles off the road and into the surrounding bush using their surveillance system. The unit’s Quick Reaction Force was immediately mobilised, while reinforcement troops from 27 Task Force Brigade Garrison were simultaneously activated to join the rescue. Converging on the terrorists in a well-coordinated pursuit towards the Mangari-Dora general area, OPHK troops engaged the insurgents and forced them to abandon their captives and flee in confusion. All 92 kidnapped victims, comprising 52 males, 33 females and 7 children, along with 8 vehicles, were successfully recovered.
In a desperate bid to delay the advancing troops, the fleeing terrorists covertly emplaced three IEDs along the Bula Zarma, Mangari general area in a calculated ambush attempt. The plot failed completely. The unit’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal team responded with precision and successfully detonated all three devices, clearing the route and enabling troops to press the pursuit approximately five kilometres beyond the Mangari general area. Subsequent search operations were conducted across the area, but the terrorists having abandoned their captives, their vehicles and their tactical objectives had scattered in complete disarray. OPHK troops sustained zero personnel or equipment casualties throughout the operation. The rescued civilians were consolidated, provided immediate welfare support and escorted by troops all the way to Damaturu, where they were released to continue their journey. This operation once again affirms the operational reach, surveillance capability and combat readiness of OPHK and serves as an unambiguous message that any attempt by terrorists to harm, kidnap or intimidate civilians will be met with swift and overwhelming force across the entirety of the North East Theatre.
