@wyoslick@JasonKrump You people don't seem to grasp the central idea here. Congress is going to try to put their finger in any pie they can. Who's going to stop them?
Just because they can, doesn't mean they should.
It is now June 4 in Beijing...
Here's a picture from @niubi from June 4, 1989...
The photos that still exist from that day continue to lessen over time...
Beijing ordered that extinction of history...
And the world unfortunately listens...
It shouldn't have to be that way though.
Are parents not raising children who aspire to one day lead their state? Or are they so jaded that they pass along that resignation of "nothing we can do about it"?
While it's understandable, it's also a little disappointing to see folks run from blue states rather than stay and fight. Easy for me to say of course, but I just wonder how this country will do when things really get tough.
An artist is suing FIFA for $25 million after his Dallas mural was covered ahead of the World Cup.
Robert Wyland alleges the work was painted over without consent, in violation of federal protections for visual artists.
It is precisely because of moments like this that I believe
1. My @RedSox will win another World Series,
2. My @nyjets will win another Super Bowl,
3. My @GeorgiaTechFB will win another championship.
I believe because this HAPPENED. I saw it. It can happen again. It will happen again.

@LeighWolf We're always going to have people like this, people beyond the "glass half full" stage who will never admit to the greatness of America. Not because they can't see it. Because they don't want to see it.
They are but a grain of sand on the beach by the shining sea.
