@LukeGrayComedy@Variety Yes, up until the invention of generative AI, all movies and TV shows were only ever shot on location and never ever shot in different locations than they claimed to be in, used sound stages, or used green screens. Absolutely impossible to do until now.
@JoshPade@MaxRose4NY And Sex and the City was '98. Again, def not a good list by any means, but like, the Internet exists and it's not hard to look up dates of TV shows.
Tonight in Valhalla, Jim Henson is dusting off his old Kermit puppet and preparing for a non-rehearsed stage performance of Muppet Treasure Island with Tim Curry reprising his role of Long John Silver and Dolly Parton as Miss Piggy as Benjamina.
Gonna be a banger.
@magdajtaylor It's odd these days that teens see an absolutely pornified online world in their daily lives, but are having the least amount of sex of any generation ever. Sex positivity seems like it's in a weird place where everyone is positive for the idea of sex, but not the act of it.
@MuseZack@Sturgeons_Law "Ethnically uncertain" definitely means something different today than it did in the mid-19th century. We have the term "black Irish" because, back then, just having black hair meant you must be some kind of weird, genetic mutt.
@jerhaun I just saw the trailer for The Beauty. Congrats man! As a longtime appreciator of your work, it's always nice to see the underdog getting their comeuppance. Cheers!
@StoryGrid None of the above. The only thing that makes me stop reading a book *immediately* is no hook. All of the things listed can be done on purpose as part of the hook, if done right. But you have 5-10 pages to capture my interest before I just plain get bored.
@MpUxieLive@throwanitback@historyoarmani2 So you hate any nation if a minority of their population agrees with fascism? Like, I mean this sincerely, but what country on Earth doesn't have some percentage of fascists and racists in it?
Is there any nation on earth you don't hate then?
