Kittywake Penthouse;

Another cute bird from the Arctic, kittywakes provided some nice scenes but not quite as cute as puffins. This is similar to one of my favorite images from Antarctica with the dramatic ice wall backdrop.

Puffins 2 ways;

My recent Arctic trip was my first real opportunity to photograph puffins; they have the cutest eyes! Then you try to shoot them, with a long lens, from a bobbing zodiac? They are NOT easy to photograph but oh so adorable!
