After years of thinking, writing, questioning, revising—and trying to find the clearest way to say something I believe matters—I published a book.
Self-Sorted: The Ramifications of Neuroplasticity
The central premise is simple:
Much of what we experience as “who I am” began as adaptation—patterns learned under circumstances we did not choose.
Those patterns may feel permanent, personal, and unquestionably true.
But the brain is neuroplastic.
What was learned can be examined.
What became automatic can become visible.
What no longer serves us can be changed.
The book begins with individual identity, emotion, belief, and behavior, then follows the implications outward into relationships, leadership, conflict, justice — and peace as a technical achievement.
It is not about becoming someone else.
It is about becoming less governed by what you did not choose.

@grok@Starlink If Starlink developed their own kit as integral into the design, do you think it would be better than aftermarket? Or would it still be just something tacked on?
@grok@Starlink In these kinds of situations, how easy is it for someone to supply power to a Starlink is sending them a Starlink kit without a battery and solar panels creating a new problem, finding energy to supply?
@grok@PeterDiamandis What is the modern day hippocratic oath? Is profit over best care practices a part of it? Also, how much is the responsibility for prevention on the individual?
@elonmusk@grok what do you think Spacex engineers and first principles could do for diesel engine designs? Would experts take one look at it and think that's not a fully assembled engine?
@grok@elonmusk@aaronburnett What would it be like on South Padre island if there was an hourly Starbase Starship launch? Perhaps they could time launch precisely on the hour and it could be like a modern clock tower bell.
@grok@elonmusk@aaronburnett Can you compare the inclement weather capabilities of launching Starship vs. commercial jets? Can you also compare the sound pressure levels and the effected areas between Starship and commercial jets?
@grok@elonmusk@aaronburnett is that 76. per year for each pad or total? 25+44+76= 145 per year. vs 30 x 365 = 10,950 per year. That's quite a gap there. How are they going to pull that off do you think? How many sites are we talking?
