@npfannen I think I was aware because of the constant talk about being aware in High School to prepare us for the future after college. However I was always told to be cautious of how you post or what you post based on family and close friends on my accounts. #engl318mu

Even though I already was aware of what I posted online, I think this class prepared me to post solely as an artist in a space I design versus someone who just creates art as a hobby and shares it online. My new presence will be solely for employers to see my work. #engl318mu

@goluckyducky I never looked at accounts this way really either. I found that by observing 3 different accounts that fall in the same category, I reenforced my knowledge behind the concepts. #engl318mu

Never did I actually sit and observe information from Instagram and Facebook. I just read or looked at photos and continued scrolling. It was really eye opening to sit and break this stuff down into how it affects your footprint. #engl318mu

I appreciated that this class was based on more design concepts and analytical thinking/observing. It really enforced the information to me by being able to stay in my element of a designer. #engl318mu

I've really been into using comments lately on Instagram, and I've pretty much never did that before except for on really close friends posts. Maybe this class made me develop this need for more within the platform? 🤔 #engl318mu

As this course comes to an end, I can sit down and compare what I thought content was based on my previous knowledge to what i have come to understand content is based on the information in this class. #engl318mu

@vivfeliciani I actually did a line graph to analyze the footprint and likes my posts got after applying all the information I pulled from my accounts. It was really shocking to see such a jump from 19 likes to 29 and using a line graph made it really easy to see that increase. #engl318mu

@EplerMeghan I too am making a summary slide to reiterate the main points and close it to completion. Like essays, we introduce and conclude and we should do that with guides to make sure that all the concepts are thoroughly pin pointed and emphasized for user understanding. #engl318mu

@goluckyducky I've contemplated comparing the interactions on posts based on the different information put into place. If I end up doing this, it'll be using a layered bar graph of some kind to be able to see all elements of one post in one single stack. #engl318mu

@vivfeliciani I'd take notice to maybe your follower rate on your accounts, using graphs to show the growth. I'd also see how your account is effected by applying your knowledge from the assignment, taking notice to likes and how many follows you lose or gain. #engl318mu

From going through my chosen accounts, I find it that themes and connections between content like a consistent drawing style or only doing black and white content keep the account clean and easy to navigate, especially when finding ways to format your text. #engl318mu

I used screenshots from my own account to compare my growth and how I apply the knowledge and information I pulled out of my analysis. A big thing was making clearcut sections so you knew what you were looking at. (Caption, separation, hastags). #engl318mu

My cousins wife made a valid point to me (being that I post art, as does she) - any content you have rights to or call your own should possess a watermark so if the content is shared, you get credit for your work and no one can claim it as their own. #engl318mu

In light of everything going on, I found this to be a little humourous as well as a connection to our content. Knowing your audience and how to speak to them is just as important as your message. #engl318mu

I decided to focus on 3 illustrator accounts I have already been familiar with in the past. This allows me to know what kind of content to expect, as well as helps me further dive into analyzing the account pages. #engl318mu
