@LucasBush10 heres a madeup stat: 39% of schools in x state fundraise for their supplies. u could use this for different arguments: 1 these schools need more funding 2 these schools are bad with their money. two opposing arguments yet they can be supported by the same piece of info #engl318mu

@EplerMeghan yes! my uncle knows a lot about technical writing, and he said the concepts of purpose/audience are key. in fact, your work may be to alter information based on different marketing groups!! but interacting with coworkers is important. you want to fortify those bonds! #engl318mu

@jetunall i never even considered what goes into how a user interprets a post or why they decide to interact. it's really interesting, once you have the data, to try and interpret it. (why did this post get more than this one? what's different?) #engl318mu

@rstarrville it really amplified the content, too! i feel like design is a really useful way to demonstrate concepts visually/keep the audience engaged. not to mention, it can keep you from feeling like you're saying too much! #engl318mu

@goluckyducky so true! without the design/style choices (or considering purpose/audience) you just have content stripped bare: information, the message. but with those, you have content. they seem like the same thing but it just isnt true. #engl318mu

@webwritten1 yeah, you dont always think about how language/style/design changes from audience to audience. would you text your boss with slang? probably not! i also wasnt actively thinking about how purpose is contextual either. you can convey the same thing in 2 totally diff ways #engl318mu

@EplerMeghan maybe a summary? you could make a graphic with the "steps" on it? or you could tie it into relevancy. "this will help you to ___." personally, im making a graphic and tying it together with some last second tips about cred & commitment #engl318mu

@goluckyducky personally, i didnt! i didn't think we were supposed to since it's for content creators. i only reference it during my "scheduling content" section & during "how to format a tweet." but it's not formal. definitely no charts. hmm.. uh-oh #engl318mu
