@chilternrailway We're now stopped in the middle of nowhere with no information as to why. I'm really hungry and would just like to get home to my dinner please
@chilternrailway I'd just like to know how to get to Banbury, please, before I melt on this platform. I don't know where platform A is or how there are two trains leaving from it
@chilternrailway That's funny, I was on the train but we were told by the driver that the train was unsafe so we had to get off. It's still sat here though. Any update on that?
@chilternrailway I shall of course waste some time on once again completing the complaints form for nothing to change. But that was truly unacceptable - it is less hot off the train than on it and it is 31 degrees outside, so what does that say about the temperature inside?
@chilternrailway 18.07 Marylebone to Moor St, carriage 58260, it's hotter than the sun in here. The bottles of water are welcome but nowhere near enough to make up for the lack of aircon. Please sort it out
@chilternrailway Thank you Kat, that's really great to hear. Will I be kept abreast of developments to ensure this won't happen again? As I'm sure you're already aware this is a regular summer occurrence (and we're still in spring!). In the meantime, how do I survive this journey?
@chilternrailway Hi Kat, thanks for the quick response, much appreciated! I don't want to submit a complaint, just for the air-conditioning to be working so that no-one passes out on this train, it's close to unbearable and not what should be endured on a simple commute home in the 21st Century
@chilternrailway This came too late I'm afraid, I'd already submitted the delay repay form, if you could please ensure I get reimbursed through that instead, that would be great, thanks!
@chilternrailway this is a new low. I was prevented from getting on the 17.37 and now we have been removed from our seats on the 18.07 to stand in a different crammed carriage and we still haven't left, will I be able to claim delay repay as I couldn't board the 17.37?
It also appears that the previous train left before us, why were we not informed that this was going to be the case? I will be claiming for however late the 18.07 ends up being
@chilternrailway 22.43 from haddenham towards moor st, carriage 58655 broken aircon, this can't go on, it's hotter than the Glastonbury campsite in here
@chilternrailway Yep, it's definitely more than 21 degrees, yep, it's definitely not going to get any cooler as it's already been an hour, and yep, I already gave you the 5 digit carriage number because this isn't my first rodeo, but it's 58453
Hi @chilternrailway , the 18.37 MYB towards Banbury is absolutely baking. Carriage 58453. Can the aircon be turned on/fixed please? And it isn't just taking time to kick in, we're 44 minutes into the journey...
