A major advantage in life: Refusing to count yourself out. You can lose momentum. Make mistakes. Take the wrong path. Start late. None of it matters as much as your willingness to begin again. Never underestimate the power of deciding you are done living beneath your potential.
The fear of living is the beginning of death.
It pays to know that we're all caught up in this web of spatiotemporal existence.
Essentially, you're never going to come out alive. That's our destiny, that's the universal truth.
Can’t lie to you. If you don’t make a move, you will see literal clowns race past you. Clowns.
Nothing concern life with ‘I am a smart, educated, experienced person’.
You don’t act, you remain there.
Normalize spending money on:
Staying fit
Looking good
Smelling nice
Eating healthy
Gaining knowledge
Money spent on self-development never goes to waste
My life got a lot better when I viewed every problem as a skill issue. Out of shape? Skill issue. Ugly bank account? Skill issue. Anxious thoughts? Skill issue. I affirmed to myself these would go away if I got better. And magically, they did, once “I” did.
Everything good comes to an end. Learn from it. Grow from it. Be grateful for it. Everything bad comes to an end. Learn from it. Grow from it. Be grateful for it.
In theory, consistency is about being disciplined, determined, and unwavering.
In practice, consistency is about being adaptable. Don't have much time? Scale it down. Don't have much energy? Do the easy version. Find different ways to show up depending on the circumstances. Let your habits change shape to meet the demands of the day.
Adaptability is the way of consistency.
The mission is simple: die empty
Use every gift, share every lesson, love every person you're supposed to love.
Don't take your genius to the grave.
Write. Produce. Create. Build
It’s: “I did a bad thing,” not “I am a bad person.”
It’s: “I tried and failed,” not “I am a failure.”
It’s: “I did it wrong,” not “I am wrong.”
How you talk to yourself defines your Self. Be careful what you say.
