We tend to judge other groups by their worst examples while judging ourselves and those like us with only the best intentions. We tend to assume the worst in people that aren’t like us.

If we start every conversation with preconceived notions of who someone is, what they stand for it’s exponentially harder to hear them or find the common ideals & values we might actually share.

That’s the difference. One side looks at working families falling behind and tells them to figure it out. The other side fights to make sure those same working families aren’t forgotten.

Sherrod Brown wrote the law that helped more than 100,000 Ohioans recover their stolen pensions. He fought for the people who spent decades building this state. John Husted basically says you’re incompetent.

Ohio doesn’t need more lectures from politicians who protect the powerful. It needs leaders who fight for the people who punch the clock every day.

Vote for who fights for you — not who tells you your struggles are your own fault.
