In the USA the reality is that this model is another means that for PROFIT under qualified educational programs make money off the hard work of already under valued practicing veterinarians. They charge the students but do not pay the vets

@Friendo_MugClub @Region8News It is the mil specific to the library funding. So in jboro we may pay 20 mil in total per year and 2 of those are assigned to supporting the library. This would bring us to 19 mil total for the year without impacting support of other services. (I oppose this change.)

@SkelfieQueen My rad director told me "radiologists are the conscience of the hospital". This Rad proved that to me and I am forever grateful for the extra time he gave me with my mom. I truly believed the radiologist saved her by reading her record and sticking to his guns.

@SkelfieQueen The radiologist showed up the next morning to check in and congratulated me on keeping mom out of unnecessary Sx.

It was way beyond his necessary input but he truly believed in his reports and knew that I was trying to protect my mom.

@SkelfieQueen Sx was pushing Sx for anemia. My mom was in a clinical trial for p.vera and had severe anemia from the trial meds identified 2 days before the trauma.

Multiple rad reports stated no hemorrhage, only pelvic fractures.

Sx continued to demand Sx.

@mcsassymd I did a vet imaging residency. When I finished I bought
a regular pizza, not store brand freezer stuff, which I actually had to pay for with more coins than I'm willing to admit to counting at the register.

This may seem over the top, but if you, your parent, or your grandparent fall victim to ID theft you could lose more than just some time. Your home, money, even your job could all be lost as a victim of ID theft.
