So here is the @YESNetwork broadcast with Michael Kay, and this really isn’t a great look for Michael.

You cannot talk in the sixth inning about how this should have been a hit and be surprised that an error was posted, and then get mad when this was correctly fixed between the seventh and eighth.

Michael talked about how once the @RaysBaseball got a cleaner hit this would get changed because it should have been scored a hit all along.

Good on the scorer for swallowing his pride and making sure he got this right. It’s easy to make a mistake (we all make them) but it would have been really easy to wait for a hit and THEN change it. I normally never mention the scorer but since they showed and named him on the broadcast, good on Bill for realizing that this needed changed and doing it BEFORE another hit.

Also @Yankees manager Aaron Boone said postgame that he knew it was a hit and was surprised at the E3 ruling, which makes Kay’s ranting here look a little sillier.
