@allisonoconn So true! Feeling/being undervalued can lead to burnout which makes it even more challenging to care for patients and conduct meaningful research. It is not being greedy!

@oncology_bg We technically have the NIHMS system which creates a PMCID with full text access. Indeed, pubs which result from NIH funding are supposed to uploaded to that system. How many PIs comply?

@hjluks Well said. This is so critical for young surgeons/trainees to understand. I would add to this that the largest surgeries, though often the most interesting , may not always be the highest value, especially when considering risk exposure, etc.
