@ASShareef Turns out there's not actually consensus on this! The practice of blessing a sneeze pre-dates Pope Gregory VII and the bubonic plague, going back as far as CE 77 in the West (with non-theistic responses noted as far back as BCE 500).
We say "bless you" in response to a sneeze, but awkwardly nothing for a hiccup.
There's a widely-held belief that a fright will cure hiccups, just as there was once a belief that a blessing would prevent a sneeze from inflicting spiritual harm.
I therefore propose we say "Boo."
@TheWinkApp I assume the situation at Wink must be untenable for you to even consider making a change like this with that kind of notice.
The least you could do is exhibit some self-awareness and offer your customers an explanation and an apology.
I am shocked and ashamed to see the treatment of @realDonaldTrump on British soil. As Americans we cannot allow ourselves to be so wildly out-innovated in the field of mocking our own president.
My wife explained to our 5 yo what "fired" means, so now he's taken to sending me off every day with a jaunty "Have a great day at work! Hope you don't get fired!"
So that's fun.
I have one @Netflix account, but have been paying for six! Five of which are not in the same country as the card. No multi-account detection, no notices, and Netflix will only refund a handful of transactions. Friendly customer service, willfully irresponsible policy.
