@MikeHalford604 I remember trying to find Halford and Brough the day TSN ended their sports station. This is brutal; please find a way to continue your show online. And I wish Rogers the same kind of future success as Funny 1040 or whatever crap replaced TSN sports radio. (John in Colwood)
@BoseService How your app won't load because it goes into an endless loop of looking for the update, and when I just click "install" update, your system crashes.
The Soundtouch 10 is a decent piece of hardware but your tech support and software engineers are terrible!
@Van_city_Nucks They traded their second as well as the Isles pick in a good draft--hopefully Hronek isn't a concussed 2nd pair dman who will have challenges from the Reeves hit down the road.
Fingers crossed he's somewhat worth it and this doesn't add to due diligence lapses of previous regime
@tyson_kehler13 @TSN_Sports@reporterchris Atlanta is the feeder for new Canadian franchises. First the Flames, then the Jets... that's the only way Bettman will give Quebec a team.
Interesting idea by @BCLions: 6-game packs for fans on Vancouver Island and the Interior, which includes bus transportation.
$28.33 per game for fans on the Island (bus from Horseshoe Bay/Tsawwassen), and $36.67 per game for fans in the Interior (bus from Kelowna/Kamloops)
@Shakespeare604 Everyone was more or less in agreement during the terrible last weeks of Bruce and heard the league-wide criticism of Canucks management. Now we're back to blind Benning Bros "blame the media" Francesco fandom. Instant fixes, no cap management are okay to fight for 16h place.
@UnboxedCrayon @DonnieandDhali You are absolutely correct--fixing this now and putting themselves up against the cap means not getting two more cost-controlled draft picks this year and probably winning more to make their remaining first a lower pick. They don't have the talent pool to be contenders yet
@ThomasDrance People who want this model and rant at you would hate what Yzerman is doing yet somehow I feel he's got more chance of success than simply enacting the whims of Aquilini. I still think they weren’t planning on keeping Miller until a mandate from above changed the situation.
@NiqhilVelji Lots of folks haven't read your post and they're launching into their "higher point producer as winger Miler who is immune to effects of age is better than overrated Horvat" Canucks Twitter was pretty unified during the Bruce farewell tour but now it's back to normal...
@wiley_canuck Yet somehow Mackinnon, Larkin and others can endure years in the wilderness to get the high picks needed. Larkin just signed long term while Yzerman w is shedding assets and grabbing draft picks. But Petey and Quinn must be placated--of course it's not Aquaman.
@ChesterM222 Aquilini ultimately doesn't have the patience to want to hear about how to navigate this. Doesn't matter how good the staff is if they have a mandate to push for playoff revenue at all costs every year.
Many assume the cap is going to go up a lot--US TV numbers say no...
@pete_gas This is, as many have said, time to buyout OEL--But do very good due diligence in choosing how to use that savings--especially avoiding signing free agents with concussion issues.
@JLStoller "We are in a cap crunch and committed to create cap space" "We will only trade for mid 20s players who are good enough to use up our cap space". Not even playing checkers--it's barely tic-tac-toe at this point. Not their fault--their owner's an idiot. #selltheteam
@taj1944 Don't blame Petey and Hughes--the hatred for draft picks is all Francesco's lack of understanding how a draft can help a team. Petey's next deal 11 mil, Miller 8, Hughes 7.8, Boeser 6.6, OEL 7.3, Kuz 5.5, Demko 5.5, Garland 4.9 Mikhevev 4.5- need good entry level contracts now
