@peacefulhumann@sekaiwadai It should be taken seriously. But many American politicians aren’t doing anything about it despite the concerns of the citizens.
Sometimes all we can do is laugh
@ATfuDB4M6CJTffP@sekaiwadai@twibuznews Unfortunately in a lot of cities like Los Angeles drug addicts are very common. The increase in fentanyl over the past few years has been very bad for the country
I laughed. We can see the problem in our cities ourselves and want to fix it, but help is often blocked or made more difficult by the government.
I just hope Japanese can come visit America and experience the parts we’re proud of. Barbeque, baseball, beaches, museums, and national parks.
@Tectone But but but the bad orange man hosted ufc fights at the White House and the bad space man is now worth a trillion dollars!
Those things are totally worse than the systematic targeting and raping of white British girls by Muslim Pakistani migrants brought in by the government!
I don’t know of a Japanese equivalent but it has to be on a sub roll. The same type of bread as a Philly cheesesteak. Its not too dense or heavy of a bread but sturdy enough for all the pork and toppings
I dont usually have anything with mine but maybe a side of French fries or chips
@hokkori_buzz I have in the past!
It’s a slow roast for the pork with herbs like rosemary and thyme. Then you either shred it or slice it and put it on bread with sautéed broccoli rabe and provolone cheese.
People think the cheesesteak is the best sandwich in Philadelphia but it’s this one
@RoKhanna How much of his wealth is liquid and able to be sent in the form of taxes?
How much stock would he have to sell to achieve that?
What ripple effects would that cause in the national and global market?
@PokeysaurusRex@Realsociedad10m Fun fact:
In early/colonial America paper money and coins were hard to come by and most people in the frontier still operated on a barter system.
The price of one buckskin was about one dollar, which is how the slang term “buck” came to mean a dollar
I’m a generous tipper but I typically go 15-25% for general things like on a restaurant bill depending on how much I enjoyed the meal.
I tip my barber closer to 50% because he does a good job and it’s a more skilled profession. Same with tailors.
Coffee shops or bartenders usually $1-2 per drink.
Let me explain why I think Freddy resonates.
Lots of Europeans visit the USA as tourists. They visit New York City, or Washington DC, or Hollywood, or Las Vegas, and if they visit natural beauty too, they go to really crowded places like the Grand Canyon or Yellowstone.
So while they see our cultural and natural icons, they are mostly in blue cities and they therefore also see the decline, the homeless, the drugs, the dirt and the rude, rude Americans.
But Freddy is not doing that. Freddy is driving, and he’s doing it through the heartland, where people are kind and polite, the skies are wide open, and the bounty of Buc-ees and Bass Pro Shops are overwhelming.
Freddy is not seeing fentanyl and decline.
He is seeing the real, hopeful, patriotic, kind America that European tourists rarely traverse.
And he loves it.
That’s why Freddy is a phenomenon.
