@DJISupport Make sure the official firmware upgrade doesnt “damage the motherboard” from next time, just like how it did for me and others

@DJISupport I’m sharing the full experience because DJI Support has repeatedly ignored the actual issue. My gimbal was working normally until I installed an official DJI firmware update. The update failed, the device became stuck on firmware upgrade screen, and motherboard failed
5/5 - Entire experience was extremely disappointing. DJI had multiple opportunities to acknowledge the firmware-related failure and offer fair solution. Instead, I was repeatedly told to pay. Customers shouldn’t have to bear the cost of device failure caused by firmware update 🙏🏻
4/5 - I was ultimately forced to pay for the repair because my only alternative was to have my gimbal returned still malfunctioning and permanently stuck on the firmware upgrade screen. That isn’t a real choice for a customer who wants their device functional.
@DJISupport@DJIGlobal Why cant such malicious firmware update be tested thoroughly before sending out- what kind of customer obsession is this? @DJISupport
DJI customer service in US is a joke. My RS 4 Mini was working perfectly until an official firmware update caused it to get stuck and become unusable. DJI says the motherboard is faulty and wants $110 to fix it. How is this my fault? @DJISupport@DJIGlobal Please review this case
@DJISupport@DJIGlobal@DJISupport You refuse to acknowledge that customer has nothing to do with the failure. I installed a DJI-provided firmware update, it failed, and the motherboard was destroyed. Why should the customer pay for a failure caused by DJI’s own software?
@abdullahtrkz All DJI customer service does is extract money from customers- i had ended up having to pay $450 for my Mini5 pro crash- without being my error. They are cheating customers
@DJISupport You keep pointing to the expired warranty, but thats not the issue. My gimbal worked perfectly until a DJI firmware update caused a motherboard failure. Similar issues have been reported by others. Charging customers fora failure caused by your own firmware- cheating
@DJISupport@DJIGlobal I have, expecting the case to be looked into on priority - the $110 repair quotation is unfair, and I should not be charged for fixing an issue caused by a known firmware-related flaw reported by multiple users online.
… and when I reach out, nobody responds! Tacarepro seems to be the authority doing DJI customer service in US, but when i contacted them- kept me hung up for 20+ mins. Pathetic customer experience
To be clear:
1.) This is NOT an annual fee. It’s a one-time fee that applies only to the petition.
2.) Those who already hold H-1B visas and are currently outside of the country right now will NOT be charged $100,000 to re-enter.
H-1B visa holders can leave and re-enter the country to the same extent as they normally would; whatever ability they have to do that is not impacted by yesterday’s proclamation.
3.) This applies only to new visas, not renewals, and not current visa holders.
It will first apply in the next upcoming lottery cycle.
It’s been a year trying to reach @Airtel_Presence customer support — absolute disaster. No one can transfer calls, no one gives the right contact. When I call the numbers they provide, it leads nowhere. Pathetic service for a company this big. Shameful.
Spicejet never disappoints, maintaining its 0 customer obsession since inception! Cancelling flight 1 day before, and letting me know that I can book an “alternate flight myself”, thank you “#worstIndianAirline
