Doctor attacked 🚨

In a shocking incident on February 20, 2025, Dr. Gade Sumanth Reddy was brutally attacked by unidentified assailants on Bhattupalli Main Road in Warangal.

The attackers intercepted his car and struck him on the head with an iron rod, leaving him with severe injuries.

He was initially treated at MGM Hospital and later transferred to a private facility for advanced care.

Authorities are actively investigating to identify the perpetrators and determine the motive behind this heinous act.

Just watched the horrifying video of the ragging incident at Kottayam, and I am beyond shocked and enraged. The sheer brutality inflicted on that nursing student is sickening. Seniors laughing while the victim cries out in pain. How does one even process such inhumanity?

Tying a junior to a cot, clipping his chest, stabbing him with a divider, drawing on his body, pouring cream into his mouth while he screams, rubbing his face with unknown substances, and placing dumbbells on his private parts. This is not ragging, this is torture. And they made the victims record it themselves.

How broken is a system that allows such brutality to continue for three months before action is taken? Five arrests won't erase the trauma. This isn’t just a crime; it’s a complete failure of those responsible for student safety. Disgusted.

*दोषी एसडीम पर की गई कार्यवाही की मांग को लेकर राज्य के सभी चिकित्सक आक्रोशित*

रविवार, दिनांक 9 फरवरी, 2025.
सेड़वा, बाड़मेर के उपखंड अधिकारी द्वारा स्थानीय सीएचसी में कार्यरत चिकित्सक के विरुद्ध दौराने ड्यूटी अमर्यादित आचरण एवं वहाँ उपस्थित मरीज़ों के सामने सार्वजनिक रूप से अकारण उनका मानभंग करने के प्रकरण से प्रदेश के समस्त चिकित्सक रोष में हैं। साथ ही सरकार द्वारा एक हफ्ते से अधिक समय बीत जाने के उपरांत भी इस संदर्भ में दोषी उपखंड अधिकारी के विरुद्ध कोई कार्यवाही नहीं की गई है, जिससे प्रदेश के समस्त चिकित्सक क्षुब्ध हैं।

आज इसी संदर्भ में राज्य के समस्त चिकित्सकों की भावनाओं के अनुरूप, UPCHAR की पहल पर JMA हॉल जयपुर में एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस आयोजित की गयी जिसमें ARISDA, UPCHAR, IMA, RAJMES, MCTAR, PHNHS आदि चिकित्सक संगठनों के प्रतिनिधियों ने शिरकत की।

अरिस्दा प्रदेश अध्यक्ष डॉ अजय चौधरी ने प्रेस बंधुओं को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि सरकार से चिकित्सकों की यही पुरजोर मांग है कि उक्त उपखंड अधिकारी ने अकारण ड्यूटी पर कार्यरत चिकित्सक के राजकार्य में बाधा डाली, उनके साथ अमर्यादित आचरण कारित किया, उपस्थित मरीजों के सामने उनका मान भंग किया और साथ ही चिकित्सालय में परामर्श या उपचार हेतु भर्ती मरीज़ों की निजता को भी भंग कर अपराध कारित किया गया है। अतः उनके विरुद्ध सुसंगत धाराओं के अंतर्गत FIR दर्ज कर कार्यवाही हो और दौराने जांच उनका निलंबन किया जाए। साथ ही चिकित्सालयों में चिकित्सकों के काम के समय प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों के निरीक्षण के बाबत भी एक सरकारी प्रोटोकॉल तय हो।

कल बाड़मेर ज़िले में ओपीडी अवधि में पूर्ण “पेन डाउन” और शेष राज्य में सेवारत चिकित्सक काली पट्टी बांध कर विरोध प्रदर्शित करेंगे !
सरकार से आगामी पाँच दिन में दोषी के विरुद्ध कार्यवाही करने हेतु सभी चिकित्सक संघों (निजी और सरकारी) ने सामूहिक रूप से निवेदन किया है, तत्पश्चात् भी न्याय नहीं मिला तो राज्य भर में चिकित्सा सेवाएँ ठप्प होंगी, उस समय राज्य के आम जन को होने वाली असुविधा के लिए चिकित्सक ज़िम्मेदार नहीं होंगे ।हमने राज्य शासन के समक्ष न्याय की गुहार लगाते हुए 15 दिन दे दिये हैं अब उत्तरदायित्व राज्य शासन का होगा !
