AS THIS SATELLITE PICTURE SHOWS THAT IS ONLY PART OF THE STORY.

Look closely at this 2023 satellite image of Medog. This is near the Brahmaputra/Yarlung Tsangpo mega-dam. It reveals a strikingly large comstruction footprint around the MONSTER dam the Chinese are making. There are a network of roads, bridges built by China. There are Chinese townships, shelters, solar installations, sports facilities and even agricultural plots.

They are located here because the Yarlung Tsangpo as Brahmaputra is called in Chinese occupied Tibet makes a dramatic descent through the "Great Bend". This creates enormous hydropower potential which why the Chinese are making the world largest dam here.

Now look at the post of the Chinese entrepreneur who has been here. He says that there is great risk on account of seismic threat in doing all this construction but says his great country is winning against NATURE!

MEGA-DAM + STEEP HIMALAYAN DESCENT + SEISMIC ACTIVITY + LANDSLIDE-PRONE TERRAIN = RISK.

Worse all this infrastructure in this strategically critical border region can have potential dual-use significance.
