Please let this be true today:
“There was always just enough virtue in this Republic to save it; sometimes none to spare, but still enough to meet the emergency.” —William Seward, Secretary of State during the civil war.
I'll just say this. Back when we were shlepping to Hill offices to share our later abortion story and ask for support against viability bans, there was one single Senate office that had an actual reproductive rights lawyer on staff. And that Senator was Kamala Harris.

@Jeep28Charlotte Thank you Charlotte! I sorta have that going anyway bc I’m isolating upstairs at my parents’ house, and I just send them a text and they magically bring me whatever I need! It’s a pretty good deal! 😉
What a traaaaaaash holiday. Will never understand why people get to watch 2 seconds of sparkles at the expense of the well-being of the nation’s entire dog population??? 🎇👎🏼
"The best way to solve a problem happening right now is us waiting for you to vote later. Because if we did something now, some people might not vote for us. And if they don’t vote for us later, then we can’t do something later! You see the problem."

Almost went to this rally yesterday but had a conflict. Of course they can’t just leave us be when our rights have been stripped away. Things are bad and going to get worse down here in the south, y’all.
I have no words to express my rage. We knew it was coming but it’s somehow even more devastating. Exhausting to live in a country that hates women this much.
