I broke my family's generational diabetes curse.
Best thing about it? I didn't avoid carbs.
•Still lost 30+ lbs in less than 4 months
•Improved my sleep and hormones
•Reversed my type 2 prediabetes
Here are 3 simple lessons that streamlined my health journey.
1) Refine your Nutrition.
I use three checkpoints.
Taste, feel, and performance.
If you don’t like how something tastes, you won’t stick with it.
This meant revamping my favorite foods first before trying to go all out on new ones.
This way I was able to use what I was already craving to my advantage by shifting them.
Making my meals more nutrient dense helped fix my gut too.
It's what I mean by feel.
If you eat terribly, you’ll feel terrible.
Mood changes, acid reflux, and skin problems are all symptoms of this.
So, If you don’t like a result, change what’s causing it.
When you improve one thing, you slowly improve everything.
It's a domino effect and your performance is no exception.
That’s why it’s so important to stay consistent.

2) Mobility before Agility.
I’m not a fan of “going hard or going home”.
Why?
It reinforces the infamous all or nothing mindset which brings you from 0 to 50…
But the moment you make a “mistake” (which is inevitable), you’re back at 0.
I don't play that game.
I focus on ability and mobility- not agility.
If I told you to run 10 miles, right now, would you?
But what If I told you to walk around the block, would you?
The average person would say yes because it sounds so easy.
Honestly- they’ll probably go further because “they’re in the zone”.
Moving everyday helps you make seamless progress so it's a non-negotiable for me.
Seamless progress = easy results.

3) Look for Sustainability first.
I don’t believe in a one size fits all approach.
Principles apply to all- but never the methods.
That’s why I tailor every single part of my approach to my client’s situation, just like I did with my own health.
The only way to guarantee a result is if you’re consistently refining.
This means being flexible and adaptable when the unexpected comes up or you’re in a time crunch-
That’s why sustainability is a key sign if something is working or not.
If it is, your progress will be on autopilot.
If it’s not… you’ll struggle to say the least.
It’s all about building an approach that's seamlessly sustainable based on the insights you collect in lessons 1 & 2.
That alone changes the game so give yourself grace.
Simple as that.

Most people don't want to hear this but...

This means focusing on nutrition, exercise, & lifestyle will dramatically lower your risk or reverse it.
Both myself and many people I know experienced this first hand
Wake up
I helped a client hit $26K in sales in 4 months.

I refuse to give up my favorite foods.
So I don’t.
And I still lost 31 lbs in 3 months.
My favorite part?
I never worry about calories and my labs are better than ever.
Use what you crave to your advantage.
Then, make it better.
More energy is a result
Losing weight is a result.
Looking better is a result.
Where most people go wrong is they hyperfocus on the result.
Focus on the root causes and the results will fix themselves.
The classic cause and effect.
Procrastinating right now?
· Pause
· 3 deep breaths
· Get up and stretch
· Change environments
· Do the thing for 10 minutes
After that you can stop- but you won't want to.
An object in motion stays in motion.
@BoysieGordon Key #2 is so underrated.

How do you pick “the right diet”?
Truth is, you can get results with most popular diets.
Problem is, they won't last if it's not tailored to you.
So instead, focus on the root issue: Health & sustainability.
Then, losing weight when you want becomes second nature.
There's more to health than simply taking a pill.
Just focusing on the root issues caused a complete 360 in my life.
•My focus is better.
•My energy levels are better.
•Even my relationships are better.
But my favorite part?
Helping people break the few limiting beliefs that stopped me in the first place.
