@jimknight99 Help that person clarify their goal/desired state. Then the third point that is created by the goal/state allows for a more open discussion and can free up their thinking. My cognitive coaching training calls this setting the PACE. As always strong partnership principles help.

@Desmos provides a great tool to teach kids about fractions. Great to to let them hypothesize about the patterns that occur and see equivalent fractions and compare fractions. #JohnstonLearns #SMP

Ss in EspanolTres working on sharing insights from famous artists. Ss chose 2 of the 4 they learned about to highlight. Then Ss will use @Flipgrid to comment on others, finally authors will comment on critics agreeing or disagreeing. Nice comprehensible input! #johnstonlearns

@anakingery shared her work in Design today. 1 of many great projects. cool process-sketch out a scene in blue ink that doesn’t show up for cameras as rough draft, went back with pen for slight adjustments, then inputted to comp for digital coloring. @JCSD_JHSart #johnstonlearns

#JohnstonLearns in PE using HR monitors. Ss were evaluating their HR level and adjusting their workout to be in the optimal HR zone. @JCSD_Strength

@MsKristiM had her students do an activity to talk about perspective in writing. Draw an object and then compare it to someone who drew the same object from across the room. Made a complex concept tangible to start-then expanded it! #johnstonlearns
