@stacey_rudin@kronberg 3/3 Testing is much more cost-effective comparing with medical care and lockdown.
Wuhan did testings for all 11M residents, to screen out symptomatic and asymptomatic infectors. A few other cities also did million-level testings. The cost's been cut down from >1500 to 40RMB.
@stacey_rudin 1/3 This "explanation" is delusional and brainless, unfair to Wuhan city and Hubei Province people who made great sacrifice during the lockdown to buy all of us some time to take action. (CC @kronberg)
@stacey_rudin@kronberg 2/3 Have done for a year:
- individuals: social distancing, ware masks, personal hygiene.
- gov: medical resources, extensive testing, contact tracing.
Epidemic is never a personal heath issue, both individuals and gov should take own responsibility to keep the society running.
