We see a number of users have immediately jumped to absurd conclusions simply going by the fact that the official X handle is based in Nigeria. At Delta, we value complete transparency, therefore, we'll offer complete clarification on the same.

First of all, this has been stated several dozen times in the past that the project originated in Hong Kong under Haida's leadership. Over time, some of the community members who turned out to be the most active contributors to the project were included in the Core Team. At present, these community members-turned Core Team members hold different roles within the Delta Core Team.

It's not feasible for Haida to be active across social media channels due to his ridiculously hectic work schedule, therefore, "Just Coode" (a community member-turned CT member) is the one who primarily handles website and social media affairs. He's based in Nigeria, therefore, the X account ownership reflects the same. However, as he continues to be active with dApp development and optimization, this handle is currently run by several other Core Team members at present. The official Discord server was created by another community member-turned Core Team member who's based in Germany/Bulgaria. He's an exceptionally-gifted I.T. and cybersecurity expert. He also used to be a Bitcoin Miner back in 2009 and also ran an active Solana validator node for several years, so he brings in a wealth of Blockchain experience to the Delta team.

Just Coode is a phenomenal app developer as well as UI/UX designer. He has worked on dApps like @socio_kim integrating offerwalls, and also handles website affairs. Most of the community channels have been included on the website, courtesy of him. He was also part of the Delta-Dfinity developer grant interview (even though he had to wake up 3:30 AM his local time for the interview). The "Built on ICP" webpage on the official Delta Kim website has also been integrated by him on the directions of Haida and my request, which turned out to be the most important factor behind Dfinity featuring Delta Kim on the official ICP ecosystem webpage. The list of his contributions to the project is never-ending, and he joined the project after it had already surpassed 160K users.

Users who have been chaotic all across the socials over X account ownership are firstly requested to bury their racially discriminatory regard some place relevant. It's deeply ironic that that majority of these voices and critics are Nigerians themselves. You hold this level of stereotype for the citizens and the talent within your own country? Haida didn't think so, nor did the rest of the Core Team members. Haida didn't question Just Coode if he's based in Nigeria. He simply saw a multi-talented app/web developer in Just Coode and included him in the team, a move that has benefitted Delta immeasurably ever since his inclusion.

When Dfinity interviewers didn't look the skin and nationality while interviewing Delta and included us in the queue for Dfinity dev grant based on Delta app's long list of functionalities (including the decentralized multi-chain wallet) and how we performed at the interview, how on Earth anyone else gets to question a project simply because one of its team members (who started as a mere community member) is based in Nigeria?

Regardless of the perception people hold, some of the Nigerian community members have actually been a blessing to Delta as they have assisted thousands of users with Delta onboarding and were also the first in line to run DSMS Access Terminals to facilitate the same.

If a person bears the intention to scam, they can absolutely do so holding an executive political position in a Tier-1 country, and if a person has to genuinely contribute towards development, they can absolutely do so from a country like Nigeria. At Delta, we don't look colours, ethnicity, or nationality. We celebrate Nigeria hitting 100K+ users on the same note as South Korea surpassing 3K+ users. There's zero place for any stereotypical tastes, which has allowed Delta to progress step-by-step since inception. And Just Coode is the sort of team player who'll go to great lengths to ensure the project goes to the Moon. We should all acknowledge his contributions instead of dissing the project simply bc of X handle's ownership.

And if anyone still has questions on the team members, they're free to ask @herbertyang who interviewed Haida and the rest of the team on the Delta-Dfinity developer grant. The entire interview took place in Chinese.
