It's no use moping. As philosophers, we must roll up our sleeves and advance the cause of justice in the only way we know: defining more concepts of the form "Epistemic [Noun]"
Around this time of year, I get a lot of emails from prospective MA and PhD students, telling me a bit about their research, and asking if I am taking new students, or if I am interested in taking them on as a student.
Here are a few very general responses to such questions:
"Sexual Agency and Sexual Wrongs," co-authored by Melissa Rees @yournerdyfriend and myself, has just been published (open-access) in Philosophers' Imprint

I'm excited to be able to share that my paper with Melissa Rees @yournerdyfriend has been accepted for publication in Philosophers' Imprint!
The penultimate version of "Sexual Agency and Sexual Wrongs: A Dilemma for Consent Theory" is online here:

Congratulations to the UBC Philosophy Class of 2024! Each undergraduate and graduate student has worked tremendously hard and has accomplished so much. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors. https://t.co/eYmWKfAtEW

UBC Philosophy Professor Jonathan Ichikawa plans to hire an undergraduate research assistant this summer for a research project on consent and feminist sexual ethics.
Eligibility is limited to UBC Faculty of Arts undergrads.

We hope to do more videos for authors in the future!
Just in case, do I know anyone in the Bay Area interested in catching up tomorrow (Friday)? I procrastinated in making plans for a family trip and am being impossibly last-minute!
DM me if you wanna say hi
interrupting my time away from twitter to express my admiration and pride for @emilytilton_, who is defending her outstanding @UBCPhilosophy PhD thesis on feminist epistemology right now. It's been a great privilege to work with Emily during her time here
Once (not this year) I read a recommendation letter for a grad school applicant who, it said, had been active in the writer's seminar. The letter added that this was remarkable, as — I quote — "it has almost uniformly been my experience that female Asian students are very quiet."
Tomorrow at noon Eastern, 9am Pacific, @yournerdyfriend and I will be presenting some of our work on consent and agency at an online seminar with the Society for the Philosophy of Sex and Love. Feel free to join us if you like! https://t.co/2POsPWeQqw
