@CounsellingSam They leave a hole in the home and the heart. In my experience (now 9 days in) the immediate “grief” eased quite quickly. To a norm “the house feels empty, we didn’t see him all summer though” feeling!

@AndyBurnhamGM I didn’t think many people were like us: both parents with dementia. It is hideous. Thank you for raving finds. And may we find a treatment/cure. And find a way for their children to get through. I’ve never known such sadness.
