Interested in governance techniques. For example, my PhD explored the impact of neoliberal policy and management systems on academic values in higher education.
No wonder constituents are loosing faith in the two major parties if they think it is OK to prosecute whistleblowers: we certainly need more Independents.
Andrew @WilkieMP just lost a House motion to debate stopping the prosecutions of whistleblowers @Richard_D_Boyle and David McBride. @AustralianLabor and @LiberalAus both opposed a debate. Every day these prosecutions continue is another day no-one will blow the whistle. #auspol
@DarrenChesterMP Due to zero crisis or affordable housing available in Darren Chester's seat of Gippsland, I suggest Darren applaud Dan Andrews for prioritizing necessities like housing and two encourage local councils to register as housing providers and access Big Build Housing Funding.
@AmyRemeikis#insiders correctly noted Albanese needs to update his lived experience narrative by recognizing that his mother would neither get a disability pension for her condition nor be guaranteed social housing in today's much harsher environment.
"The PM likes to talk about his lived experience... If his mother was going through the system today, she most likely wouldn't have access to public housing, the disability pension... He's not giving the same chances to people who are experiencing that now"

Adam Bandt needs to negotiate with the Independents to secure an optimum outcome as opposed to grandstanding a "perfection or nothing approach" which progresses nothing: Independents have more managerial awareness.
Adam Bandt is an idiot. Says not abolishing negative gearing by Labor is a cowardly approach. Can someone tell this f***wit that Labor tried it in 2019 & it was resoundingly rejected on the back of lies & scare campaigns by the media AND the Coalition. Has this dolt NO memory.?
Very sad the media savvy and self promoting Jacinta Nampijinpa Price and Warren Mundine perceive advocating a NO vote for Aboriginal people with no voice as a justifiable strategy for growing and preserving their social status.
Stop apologising for an LNP devoid of any type of policies people under 50 are attracted to and give up on defending the position of a bunch of blokes grouping behind a leader trying to bury Uluru .
It is a statutory requirement aboriginal people must be consulted in construction of water resource plans. There voice must be heard. In many instances they are not.
Why would we think a voice in constitution will be listened to when Gov currently ignore law that says they must.
Iโm getting a lot of negative commentary on my timeline from #Dutton supporters. Personal insults, racist tropes, hostile invective. You?
Is this what Dutton calls โunitingโ the country?
Doing a lot of blocking today.
Itโs sad & disheartening.

Not everyone thankfully hears Prof. Marcia Langton from the "ordinary bloke" mindset you say in your profile you represent, In fact, research shows that generally people under 40 have a progressive mindset.
Marcia Langton is not helping the cause. People who are undecided will not come on board with bullying and berating. Strong well reasoned argument might win the day. Saying high court challenges are welcome also worries those opposed. https://t.co/k1mUt3Y2fP
@jillianmcarroll i know --its actually gone bizzare -- something is gunna break soon if it hasn't already
maybe -- a breakaway party is formed
or a concerted effort to return to the middle
They cant keep on like this
little things like by september a heap more 18yos will be voters
The reasoning processes of Peter Dutton and LNP shadow ministers appear to neither rely on logic or evidence based arguments e.g. Marcia Langton pointed out on ABC 7.30 last night Peter Dutton's arguments rely on "deceit" and "ignorance".
This is the Uluแนu Statement from the Heart.
Look at the names of the 250 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ppl who reached a national consensus, proposing a constitutionally enshrined Voice.
Dutton and the Liberal Party are being dishonest. It will not be a Canberra Voice.
Those in the second group need to stop listening to Peter Dutton re. need for more detail about The Voice and read the Design Principles accompanying the submission for discussion on The Voice by a parliamentary committee.
It seems there are 3 groups regarding the voice. Firstly those who think itโs a no brainer, secondly those who want a bit more detail and thirdly those violently oppose.
The numbers are only just over 50% so important to engage second group. Talking down to them will not convince
