Drew Winslow is a 6'5" Freshman Right-Handed pitcher out of Troy, Illinois. Winslow threw yesterday and featured a 4 Seam that was 91-94, then also a sinker in the high 80s.
So he can carry the 4 seam with good spin and velo to beat hitters at the top of the zone. But then, he can also move the ball, and does so with long levers, so he has the arsenal to match any style of hitter. As he develops, that also suggests he has the potential to have long(er) outings where he navigates through a lineup multiple times.
Winslow said he chose OSU largely because the culture had a "family" feel to it, so he's obviously wise beyond his years, because he nailed that one spot on.
Winslow is another Freshman who is a multi-sport athlete, so this will be the first time he will have the chance to concentrate on baseball/pitching only. And, with that arsenal and with his size, that's a super exciting combo. So...LFG! Welcome Aboard, Drew! #gopokes #okstate

I’ve never been an emotional person but I cried because I know my story is not ideal. My legacy is not wins or losses to me. It’s that I always bounce back when the odds stacked against me❤️🩹 #3

If he wasnt a D1 baseball recruit, Drew Winslow would have home at the next level for basketball. 6-6 forward very active and that D1 baseball athleticism shows through

The Game 29 Player of the Game goes to Drew Winslow of @BasketballTriad in their 39-37 win to secure 5th Place in the 40th Annual @PFDairy Holiday Classic!
@TriadKnights@IHSA_IL It was unfortunate and unprofessional, but the more shocking moment was watching the complete lack of respect when a calm administrator approached and he refused to shake hands before unleashing an angry tirade.
Final: Triad 69-68 Hazelwood East
