@CynicalPublius I was only 7 but I remember the celebrations as magical. In my child mind I was proud of my country without even knowing what that really meant. The parades, flags everywhere, the summer residents coming in to celebrate with us, the constant grilling & clam boils all summer. 🇺🇸

@TheRob1772 Agreed. I left MA in 2019 for FL. Always worked from home so I was lucky. Dumb restrictions. They even banned nips in town. Masks common through 2022. NH is the last island of sanity in New England. Never thought I would live to see Maine fall! We don’t despise Obama enough.
