@black13830 ACT are anti animal welfare. Rodeos and live exports - all acceptable to them. They’d probably bring back wild animal circuses if they could. They’re rather backwards on many levels.
I’ll never forget the people who let one raging madman rewrite their entire personality and value system. Watching folks abandon everything they once claimed to believe just to fall in line and excuse the most heinous behavior will be studied for years by psychologists and historians alike.
Donald Trump isn’t just a politician. He’s an infection in the bloodstream of America, and the damage to our national soul is catastrophic.
Animal lovers, read this excellent piece on the bull that escaped an NZ rodeo.

Larry the cat tripped up a photographer as he exited Downing Street following Polish president Karol Nawrocki's meeting with Sir Keir Starmer on Tuesday, 13 January.
Karol Nawrocki visited Number 10 to thank the PM for the UK soldiers stationed in his country as part of the UK’s contribution to Nato’s Forward Land Forces, while Sir Keir thanked him for hosting the squadron.

@cjsbishop As usual, Bishop on the wrong side of history 🙄
Imagine being part of a "government" that aligns itself with the Trump administration, as Phil Goff points out. Wow! Your poor kids will have to live with knowing who you were, where you stood, for the rest of their lives.
@black13830@matroked Thinking about it a bit more I am going to give credit to Barbara for at least fronting, even though it may have gone against her grain.
Hoggard on the other hand I still deem a wimp.
@black13830@matroked Barbara looks like a sulky teenager there under duress. Must have felt very awkward for her, and clearly Hoggard didn’t have the guts to face SAFE after his ignorant comments. It’s sickening to see how blatant his allegiance to farmers is.
@black13830@domesticanimal His comments told me he certainly has his prejudices against animal welfare groups and that, is not something becoming of a Minister. Especially one in his role.
Disregarding the advice of the National Animal Welfare Advisory Committee, sidestepping proper public consultation, and ignoring High Court rulings, but apparently he’s left his lobbyist past behind

@black13830@chrisluxonmp The conflicts are so obvious, but I guess Luxon won’t point the finger because National will have the finger pointed back at them. Plus he is a weak leader.
What a shame for all those that have worked so hard on improving AW issues all these years.
