But the really clever bit is that the chassis is designed to accommodate multiple engine types and be used for multiple applications - not just high end 4x4’s (MEWPs etc).

In the articulated flavour, are the Oshkosh MTRV derived Close Support Tankers. With 20,000 litre tanks, we purchased about 200 of these, not sure how many are still in service

A short summary of some research that was done into using titanium for AFV road wheels.

TLDR: Ti road wheels cost a lot more to buy, but last a lot longer than aluminium/steel. Through life Ti road wheels would be c.27% cheaper and save 555 lbs in weight on an M1 tank

@thinkdefence I think the @INEOSGrenadier would be worth considering. I’d adopt a similar approach to what @AustralianArmy have done with the Gwagon. All we need is a 6x6 variant and we’re golden.
