@haveigotnews It's a shame the western democracies can't synchronize a big tax increase on mega-rich businesspeople the same way they synchronized the Quantitative Easing they were doing to bail out all the mega-rich business people after the 2008 financial fiascos.
@MadisonMills22 I wonder if people thinking of taking up smoking wear nicotine patches for a while, to ease their way into it. Maybe you could ask them that when they DM you?
Are they sure they're all ants? Have they ruled out the influence of tiny robots from the C.I.A. and K.G.B. enlisting them to fight it out for control of America's west coast?
@haveigotnews It should become clear that their "their second, third and fourth" homes will be tax free, as will a lot of other things, as soon as they begin referring to the inheritance tax as the Death Tax.
@haveigotnews I'm a little surprised the U.S. military hasn't stepped in to free France yet. Are you sure they haven't asked you people to do that for them?
Regarding the "you'd have been better off just investing your Social Security money in the stock market" argument: Isn't that what the government was supposed to be doing with it anyway, turning it into more money? So it's obviously another failure of government leaders.
If the government considers Social Security a tax, they should make it the same percentage for higher income earners. Why should they only pay 2% of their income when everyone else has to pay either 7.5% (if they're employees) or 15% (if they're self-employed)?
And if the government considers Social Security a loan, which it is, they should also decide not to make it the first big loan they default on. In the long run, it's probably best not to decide you can always rely on defaulting on the loans from your own citizens.
the president of Columbia at the time (Lee Bollinger) refused to shake her hand at graduation. his name is mentioned twice in the epstein files. this is the reality of ivy league institutions.
@parietines Oddly, that's how I feel about the way a lot of people here in the U.S. talk now, just just because I happened to read this definition of surrealism at the beginning of the new millennium.
They should think up an idea to tax the wealthy what they were taxed before Ronald Reagan's presidency. Surely someone can think of some way they could do that.
Trump blew up the school because the wrong label was on the map he got from the U.S. military intelligence, just like what happened when Clinton blew up the Chinese Embassy in Yugoslavia.
