Nigerian billionaire Keji Giwa has sparked conversations after sharing his perspective on gender roles, stating that men and women are not equal but are designed to complement one another.

Speaking during an interview, Giwa said he is not a supporter of what he described as a “warped feminist agenda,” insisting that the biological differences between men and women make them different rather than equal.

According to him, “A man and a woman are not equal. They complement each other, but they’re not equal.”

He argued that men and women differ in several ways, including physical strength and emotional intelligence, adding that women are generally more emotionally intelligent and have a higher IQ than men.

“We’re not equal in strength physically. We’re not equal in emotional intelligence. Women are more emotionally intelligent than us. They have a higher IQ than we do,” he said.

Giwa further stated that men are naturally more aggressive due to their physical makeup, while women are biologically wired differently. He used the example of a woman’s scream, saying it instinctively draws attention and prompts men to protect.

He maintained that biology has already defined the roles of both men and women and argued that society should respect those differences instead of trying to make the sexes the same.

“What we need to do is to respect the role of a man and respect the role of a woman. And understand that when those two become one, then you have not just multiplication, but domination,” he concluded.
