🚨NJSIAA Strips Anthony Knox's 2025 State Title🚨

17 months after St. John Vianney's Anthony Knox won his 4th straight state wrestling title, the NJSIAA Controversies Committee voted 8-0 to revoke Knox's 2025 region and state championship as first reported by https://t.co/fAfC7PjANE's Joe Zedalis.

In a court document, the NJSIAA wrote:
"High school athletics is just as much about fostering teamwork, leadership, and resilience as it is about winning titles given that these lessons will extend beyond the sports field into each student's academic and personal life. Athletics teach sportsmanship, cooperation, and respect for others. Knox did not demonstrate these qualities at the tournament on February 22, 2025.

Knox is set to begin his NCAA wrestling career at Rutgers this fall.
