@NBCSAuthentic the Giants game broadcast has been playing with English and Spanish audio feeds for about 15 minutes now. Still happening now at the top of the 7th.
TRUMP: "When they have a problem it blows up violently. So the beautiful woman sitting in the 4th row -- you'd never recognize her again."
CROWD: *groans*
Trump: "That was the first I really sa- I said, 'who the hell did that?' I saw engines about 3, 4 years ago. These things were coming- cylinders, no wings, no nothing. And they're coming down very slowly landing on a raft in the middle of the ocean some place with a circle. Boom"
Trump: "They don't wanna-- I say, ohhh-- They don't wanna -- when I first, I thought I was seeing things. I thought I wassss... like-- I didn't hear that when I first start this ho-- they'd say 'the Democrats will not approve voter ID.'"
Parts of this Obama speech are really intense, even angry. It comes across as a warning for us to wake up, particularly when he talks about Trump calling his fellow citizens “vermin.”
It also reminds me of this Obama quote from 2017: “Now, presume there was a ballroom here in Vienna in the late 1920s or '30s that looked and seemed as if it, filled with the music and art and literature that was emerging, would continue into perpetuity. And then 60 million people died. An entire world was plunged into chaos…So you got to pay attention.” https://t.co/KfSnnfEyHB
The events that led to this situation (something about a YouTuber giving a way PS5s) are pretty damning for the "riots are voice of the unheard" narrative that we've heard so much of. These people aren't angry, they're bored.
Transcript of an audio tape filed in the lawsuit by his former assistant. Not hearsay, not her saying it, Rudy’s voice on tape. Trump’s friend, lawyer and nightly guest of right-wing media. You all should be so proud to stand with Rudy.
