As relentless heatwaves blanket Europe, Chinese-made ACs are stepping up to save the day and deliver refreshing coolness.
For every global problem, China is part of the solution.
Chinese netizens’ negative perception of Singapore largely stems from one core issue:
Singapore’s leadership sided with Japan and criticized China for remembering history after Japan provoked China on the Taiwan question.
This is why Chinese netizens’ contempt toward Singapore runs so deep — sometimes even deeper than their contempt toward open adversaries.
To many Chinese people, Singapore’s behavior represents a particular kind of betrayal.
As an ethnic Chinese-majority country, Singapore should have a natural understanding of the trauma Japan inflicted on the Chinese people — including the brutal Japanese occupation of Singapore itself, such as the Sook Ching massacre.
Instead, Singapore’s leadership downplays or sidesteps Japanese historical aggression, cozies up to Japan strategically, and then has the audacity to lecture China to “move on” from history.
That crosses several Chinese red lines at once:
Historical memory.
Ethnic and civilizational loyalty.
Dignity.
Backbone.
In the eyes of many Chinese netizens, Singapore has chosen self-colonization for survival and geopolitical positioning.
It willingly distances itself from mainland China, aligns with former colonizers and their allies, suppresses its own historical memory, and still benefits from being ethnically Chinese whenever convenient.
That is why Chinese netizens so often describe Singapore’s political class as “殖物” — self-colonized creatures of empire.
To them, Singapore is no longer seen as a genuine overseas Chinese community with historical memory.
It is seen as a traitorous outpost that has internalized the worldview of its former and current masters.
This is also why Chinese netizens’ criticism of Singapore often feels more personal and venomous than their criticism of many other countries.
For many Chinese people, betraying one’s own blood, memory, and historical suffering is worse than being an external enemy.
It is seen as a profound moral and civilizational failure.
We said “No More Foreign Wars, No More Regime Change!” We said it on rally stage after rally stage, speech after speech. Trump, Vance, basically the entire admin campaigned on it and promised to put America FIRST and Make America Great Again.
My generation has been let down, abused, and used by our government our entire adult lives and our children’s generation is literally being abandoned.
Thousands and thousands of Americans from my generation have been killed and injured in never ending pointless foreign wars and we said no more. But we are freeing the Iranian people.
Please.
There are 93 million people in Iran, let them liberate themselves. But Iran is on the verge of having nuclear weapons.
Yeah sure.
We have been spoon fed that line for decades and Trump told us all that his bombing this past summer completely wiped it all out.
It’s always a lie and it’s always America Last. But it feels like the worst betrayal this time because it comes from the very man and the admin who we all believed was different and said no more.
We thought the victory won in 2024 would be finally time to put America First.
And we thought that meant the common American man and woman and their children.
Not the elites.
America has suffered and they don’t even care.
Hundreds of thousands of American small business owners lost their hard earned businesses during tyrannical covid lockdowns, that by the way, started under Trump with 15 days to slow the spread and continued under Biden and Democrats. There is no difference between them.
Vaccine injuries, deaths, delays and loss in our tax payer funded education, record high suicides, record high Big Pharma profits and ZERO accountability for anyone from the MAGA America First administration as they run off to start wars and the board of peace at the same time.
Create the crisis and the solution simultaneously and then build condos to profit. MAGA!
For years we demanded to release the Epstein files, demanding transparency and justice for thousands of victims, women and children, by the richest most powerful men in the world and we had to fight Trump himself to do it, even after we all campaigned on it. And not a single person has been arrested and likely won’t be, no accountability, no justice.
Instead, we get a war with Iran on behalf of Israel that will succeed in regime in Iran.
Another foreign war for foreign people for foreign regime change.
For what?
Does it lower our inflation that our government caused? Caused by BOTH Democrats AND Republicans with their decades of corrupt government spending that has enslaved us all in nearly $40 Trillion in debt and reduced the value of our dollar to nothing. No, war with Iran does not lower inflation and make cost of living affordable.
Does war with Iran fix our healthcare system and make health insurance affordable for Americans??
No war with Iran does not do that and the MAGA admin and Republicans aren’t even working on it in any serious way at all.
Does war with Iran stop AI from replacing your job? Nope.
Does war with Iran help you to be able to afford to buy a home? No, but you’ll see TikTok videos of nice penthouses when Gaza is rebuilt.
Does war with Iran help the mental health crisis in America or help the drug addiction pandemic in America? Nope.
Does war with Iran do anything to help American families stay together and survive? No, not at all.
But within hours of war with Iran it was reported approximately 40 innocent girls, school children, in Iran were killed by bombs from Israel.
And they don’t care, they killed thousands of innocent children in Gaza, and apparently our Pro-Peace administration doesn’t care either.
And, since they won’t solve America’s problems clearly they don’t care about our kids either.
Now, America is going to be force fed and gas lighted all the “noble” reasons the American “Peace” President and Pro-Peace administration had to go to war once again this year, after being in power for only a year.
Head-spinning, but maga.
The heated discussion of "Death line" in China has resonated with Americans, and no Americans have refuted it, because this is the accurate description of American society. Americans should consider a question: why can Chinese define the problems of American society, rather than Americans themselves? I think there are few reasons.
1. Middle/low class Americans generally do not have the opportunity to receive elite education, and the public "happy education" in the United States actually teaches children nothing. Moreover, the general intelligence of Americans is lower than that of Chinese. Therefore, these Americans are suffering, but they cannot pinpoint the core reasons for their suffering.
2. The core reason for the "death line" is quite clear to the Chinese, which is the cruel exploitation of the working classes by capitalism. However, the ruling class in the United States certainly does not want these Americans to figure it out. They distort the narrative, label these people as problematic or immoral, and then make other Americans believe that letting them die is acceptable, or shift the blame onto China. China takes our jobs. Americans do not have the ability to see through these narratives.
3. In fact, China used to have the same problems. Starving to death, freezing to death, using drug to death, selling children for food, ordinary people working 14 hours a day but unable to get enough to eat....... these issues are quite common in China under the rule of KMT before 1949. Do you know what the Chinese did at that time? They chose CPC and Mao, overthrew the KMT ruling class through violence, and established the socialism China today.
Because the ones who despise Japanese fascism were never “just Chinese.”
They are Koreans, Filipinos, Indonesians, Malaysians, Singaporeans... every corner of Asia that still carries the scars you left.
Japan invaded half a continent, burned cities, raped generations, wiped out entire villages, ran human-experiment death camps like Unit 731, and to this day, you still whitewash your crimes, worship your war criminals, and pretend you are the victims.
What you call “anti-Japan” is simply Asia remembering its dead.
Memory isn’t propaganda.
Trauma isn’t a trend.
And victims owe their killers nothing, not forgiveness, not silence.
A nation that rewrites its massacres and expects sympathy is not misunderstood.
It is a tumor of denial surviving only because the world is too polite to say what it really remembers.
But Asia remembers.
And memory does not die because the Japanese fascists finds it inconvenient.
Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong summoned the Japanese ambassador to China Kenji Kanasugi, making serious démarches over Japanese PM Sanae Takaichi’s erroneous remarks regarding China.
In the Diet last week, Japanese PM Sanae Takaichi made provocative remarks on Taiwan that imply the possibility of armed intervention in the Taiwan Strait. These remarks are extremely wrong and dangerous, which constitutes a blatant interference in China’s internal affairs, grossly violates the international law and the basic norms of international relations, seriously undermines the post-war international order, seriously goes against the one-China principle, the guiding principles set forth in the four China-Japan political documents, seriously undermines the political foundation of China-Japan relations, and seriously hurts the feelings of the Chinese people. The 1.4 billion Chinese people will never tolerate this!
The Taiwan question is at the core of China’s core interests and is an untouchable red line and bottom line. 80 years ago, the valiant Chinese people, after 14 years of bloody battles, defeated the Japanese invaders. Today, 80 years later, anyone who dares to interfere in China’s reunification cause in any form will surely be dealt a heavy blow by China!
China once again urges Japan to deeply reflect on its historical crimes and responsibilities, immediately reflect on and correct its mistakes, withdraw its egregious remarks, and not go further down the wrong path. Otherwise, all consequences must be borne by Japan.

🇨🇳🇯🇵 Many Chinese people still don’t truly understand Japan as a nation.
It’s a country that borrowed its culture, writing, and even religion from China, yet never learned dignity, strength, or pride. Instead, it perfected the art of hypocrisy bowing low with polished manners while hiding a dagger behind its back.
Japanese anime romanticizes cherry blossoms as symbols of fleeting beauty, yet they often remind viewers: the more blood the roots soak, the more vivid the bloom. That’s not poetic, it’s pathological.
What Japan calls “civility” is just a fragile mask over centuries of violence, conquest, and denial. Their discrimination against Chinese people today isn’t about morality, it’s their frustration at being culturally stagnant and geopolitically irrelevant in the shadow of China’s resurgence.
