Rules Committee meets Monday night and will decide if our Amendment to strip section 219 (merging US military tech & supply chains with Israel’s) from the NDAA will get a vote.
If they don’t let our amendment get a vote, I will vote against their rule. https://t.co/MoAjm3FAuw
The newly released UFO videos do not lower people health insurance premiums, does not stop Social Security and Medicare from going bankrupt in 2032, does not lower inflation or gas, does not help people afford to buy a home, or does not end the Iran war that Americans did not sign up for.
Nobody cares.
Everyone wants to talk about whether the economy is strong or weak. I look at it a little differently. I look at the people living in it.
Today, more than 1 in 5 Americans over 65 are still in the workforce. Some are there because they want to be. Many are there because retirement no longer covers the cost of living. I remember when my own grandmother told me that just one of my grandfather's medications costs $800 a month. One medicine.
At the same time, about half of Americans under 30 are still living at home because buying a home, paying rent, and simply getting started has become increasingly out of reach. In contrast, my parents gave me luggage for my high school graduation. The message couldn't have been clearer: they had absolutely no expectation I'd be living at home much longer.
Think about what this all says. We don’t have a laziness problem, we have an affordability one. One generation can't afford to retire. Another can't afford to launch.
That also isn't a Republican problem or a Democrat problem even though everyone wants to blame the other. It's an American problem.
The strength of our economy shouldn't be measured only by the stock market or GDP. It should be measured by whether young Americans can build a prosperous future and whether older Americans can retire with the dignity they earned.
Right now, too many are struggling to do either. We must do better.
What if one idea could save both people and animals?
In Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, there's an animal shelter doing exactly that.
Founded by journalist Glenn Greenwald and his husband, David Miranda, the shelter hires homeless people to care for rescued animals. The idea came after they noticed something powerful on the streets: many homeless people would share their last meal with their dogs, always putting their companions first.
So they built a shelter where both could get a second chance.
The workers receive a salary, housing, and training. The animals receive love, care, and a safe place to heal. Both often arrive with nothing. Both leave with hope.
One of the first employees, 20-year-old Lucas, had been carrying a sick puppy from vet to vet, begging for someone to help. After joining the shelter, he was able to rent his first apartment and rebuild his life.
As Lucas put it: "You can go places and be treated like a person."
The animals find homes. The people rediscover dignity. It's a reminder that sometimes the best solutions help more than one life at a time.
This is the kind of idea I'd love to see around the world. Do you agree?
Congratulations Major Capers, you earned every bit of that Medal of Honor.
It was an honor hosting you sir, and you’re welcome back to San Antonio to hang with the boys any time 🫡
🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran just published all 14 clauses of the MoU. Read them carefully, because this is not the deal Trump described.
The headline numbers: $300 billion in reconstruction commitments from the US and allies. $24 billion in released frozen funds, half before negotiations even start. Complete naval blockade lifted within 30 days. US forces withdrawn from around Iran.
Here's the big one: Hormuz reopens under Iranian arrangements, meaning Iran keeps management of the strait.
The nuclear clause is Clause 9: Iran reiterates its commitment not to produce nuclear weapons. That's it. No enrichment cap. No dismantlement. No inspector access beyond existing frameworks.
The actual nuclear terms get negotiated in a separate 60-day window, and Clause 14 explicitly removes Iran's missile program and support for resistance groups from the agenda entirely. Permanently.
Iran's Deputy FM called it a total victory this morning. He wasn't spinning.

to put people above corporations,
to put America above foreign countries,
to release the Epstein files,
to not spy on citizens,
to eliminate fraud,
what the hell happened?!
I will deliver this speech Monday at approximately noon. I’m honored to report that some survivors have already indicated they will attend as my guests in the gallery. If you’re a survivor and would like to attend, please contact my office, or talk with leaders in your group.
@marklevinshow Sounds like you’re bitter that I ratioed you and you had to delete your lying dishonest tweet about my friend @FmrRepMTG, or face a lawsuit.
Tune in to CSPAN Monday to hear my speech honoring the Americans who were visciously attacked by Israel while serving on the USS Liberty.
Sean Strickland says he bought plane tickets to DC for the UFC event: "I’m gonna bring the belt, get a big f*cking bullhorn, and we’re gonna go right up to the gates. We’ll let them know what we really think about Trump and Israel."
Bryce Mitchell reacts to Sean Strickland being banned from the UFC White House event:
"I'm not surprised at all. We ought to be able to criticize our own nation, let alone a foreign nation.
[Israel] is the only nation you're not allowed to criticize. Something's gonna change, because evil empires don't last forever."
