@NekiasNBA Is Terrance Mann just Jesse Lingard? I saw some trade discussion mention him as the Clippers' young, high potential player and it got me thinking.
@john_keeffer@Tjonesonthenba Utah's 3 most played lineups were Conley/JC/Lauri/Vando/Kelly, THT/Ochai/Lauri/Kelly/Kessler, and Sexton/JC/Lauri/Vando/Kelly. He played a decent amount of 4 in mixed bench lineups, but was primarily a 3. The positional stats are wonky and often determined too much by height.
@thru_texts @IRodC1@NekiasNBA Depends how "jumps with both feet" is defined, since the pivot foot left the ground just before the other foot landed, meaning both feet were off the ground at the same time. My understanding is that a step-through is allowed while a jump-through is not, but I could be wrong.
@Sam_Vecenie At some point Utah's gonna need NBA-level guards who do more than just score at an ok level, but I don't know who they can get right now. Ideally, the Dallas situation blows up and they manage to pull off something like Collins+Sexton+8 frps for Luka, along with good development.
@NekiasNBA It's interesting to see an expansion of the 2-way framed this way when there have also been reports of players/agents not liking 2-way deals, but I guess it's a better chance at a smaller benefit for more players rather than a larger benefit for fewer players
@jeskeets It would be hilarious, but everything with Kyrie has shown he wants to do and say whatever he wants, but, most importantly, he wants all the money. He would've been fine with the Nets if they'd given him another guaranteed max. I just don't see him signing for cheap
@NekiasNBA@stevejones20@dunkerspotpod Great pod, NeThibs Docan! It's good to hear some non-Jazz folks realize that Utah already played a bunch of "bigs" last year with Vando, Lauri, Kelly, Kessler, so it's not that crazy to fit Collins in. Always like hearing W talk and the "attack the co-host" free throws are great.
@SethPartnow Does BREF just think the Jazz practically never played with a 3 or do they have Vanderbilt and/or Olynyk listed as 3s? He played a ton of minutes with 2 of Olynyk, Vanderbilt, and Kessler and pretty much just played the 4 occasionally with bench units.
@scalzi Oh no; I've been putting off reading it because I've never been into kaiju stuff generally, but if it's an award-winner, it might have to jump up on my to-read list
@Tjonesonthenba Overall athleticism with his mobility at his size, probably. But if you're just talking the explosive aspect, he's behind at least Lauri, Sexton, and Ochai imo (haven't seen enough Hendricks to compare)
