🚨 Labour came to power warning of a £22bn black hole.
Since then they have:
❌ Put taxes up by around £70bn
❌ Borrowed another £310bn
And now, after taking more of your money AND borrowing hundreds of billions more…
…there is apparently another £35bn black hole.
At what point do we admit the problem isn’t that Government doesn’t have enough money?
It’s that Government cannot control its spending.
You cannot tax your way to growth.
You cannot borrow your way out of overspending.
And taxpayers cannot keep being handed the bill.
Enough.
@andyburnham You’re a liar
The high prices are a direct cost of NetZero and massive subsides to a failing renewables industry that is destroying our energy security
You’re a moron and a puppet.
Hey @JuliaHB1 of @TalkTV the UK spends, per annum, the following:
£13.04 billion foreign aid
10% of GDP on net zero
£4.36 billion on the asylum system
£3.5 billion for benefits for anxiety and ADHD
MPs' expenses £140 million
The House of Lords £143.8 million
And don't get me started on public sector gold plated pensions.
But, yeah, let's come after old people. Again. 🙄 Utterly contemptible and despicable.
▪️£4 billion a year on asylum hotels and support.
▪️Another £15 billion a year of public money on Net Zero.
▪️Another £3 billion a year given to Ukraine.
▪️Another £6 billion wasted in a single fiscal year from cancelled government funded projects and asset retirements.
That’s £28 billion of taxpayer cash in a single year.
We can’t keep the lights on in hospitals, fail to support our farmers, veterans wait years for housing, potholes have their own postcodes and the road drains aren’t regularly cleaned. But we’ve always got another few billion for illegal migrant hotels no one asked for and a climate target that accounts for less than 1% of global emissions while China opens another coal plant.
Fiscal responsibility, they call it.
The rest of us just call it setting fire to the country and calling it policy.
The national conversation should move from how much tax we should pay and towards what the government is spending our tax money on.
The CPS took just under five months to bring charges against the Manchester airport thugs, Muhammad Amaad and Mohammed Fahir Amaaz.
It took the CPS a few days to bring charges against Danny Tommo.
This is why people have lost confidence in the UK justice system.
I don’t recall these thugs being arrested, rushed through the court, the Judge making an example of them after the Home Secretary threatened the "full force of the law". 🤔
Wait, so our oh-so-ethical Foreign Secretary won’t talk to Israel but has a friendly sit down with the representative from the Islamic Republic of Iran which killed 40,000 protesters in January and is still killing protesters?
The world grows ever more upside down.
🚨NEWS: Andy Burnham has announced a new Government disinformation unit to highlight the lies being told about Britain.
This from the same Government who have gone to court to cover up migrant crime statistics.
@Sacha_Lord Has its advantages! Not really sure why it’s on top of the list of political thinking. When labours policies mean people can’t actually afford said pints. Student politics again from your mate Andy
Andy Burnham announces he will create a "National Centre for Information Defence". Welcome to the Ministry of Truth. Orwellian overreach. No one voted for this. No government should ever be the arbiters of ‘truth’…especially when they convey the opposite.
If you are feeling poorer since Labour gained power. This is why..

Oh FFS come on!… surely they can’t be this jealous! …. 95% of all businesses in the UK are micro businesses.
owners go without wages, holidays, pensions and maternity leave. They remortgage houses, take personal guarantees on loans and spend years worrying.
The ONLY upside they have is that one day they MAY be able to sell their business.
If capital gains tax is raised again, why would they bother?
employees take none of that financial risk yet owners are expected to risk everything, now for nothing!
destroying the private sector looks like this! and its greedy supporters are too stupid to understand what happens when people taking the risks stop bothering. And they will !
Oh come on 🔥
I don’t care what anyone says,
Sydney Sweeney didn’t set women back decades.
OnlyFans did.
Men competing in women’s sports did.
Lindsay Clancy’s defenders did.
“Sex work is work” did.
Dylan Mulvaney did.
DEI did.
Calling women “birthing people” did.
The total mainstreaming of porn did.
Treating stay-at-home moms like they wasted their lives did.
A beautiful actress isn’t the problem.
A culture that stopped protecting women is.
Tell me I’m wrong. 🤷♂️
Refusing to drill for our own North Sea oil but then buying the exact same North Sea oil from Norway makes Britain the virtual-signalling, eco-nut capital of the world
If a far-right mob hospitalised a Labour activist:
Andy Burnham would have condemned it.
Shabana Mahmood would be setting up a task force.
Sadiq Khan would have compared it to 1930s Germany.
It would be all over the BBC.
And yet, when it’s far-left thugs, barely anything.
