@Ksw1monk@ClimateDad77 Yes it has.
Key difference is the very specific growing conditions that can sustain not just one or two billion people but 8 billion; Predictable within the seasons and within a certain tolerance of temperature, humidity, water availability, fertiliser, ect.
@CHHoulbrook Same mentality as the MAGA/Reform folk.
Brainwashed, don't realise they're brainwashed, will come up with anything or agree with anything to continue their delusionment.
@FrankBefield@BladeoftheS That's a good one.
Anonymous boomers will come up with anything to make damn sure 1976 will go down in history as the only time you can cry about being too hot.
It stood alone, in decades and in location. Now it's every year, all over the world.
@paktealover@AaronBastani He's ignorant, yes. If I'd witnessed that I would have either thrown him down the stairs or at least moved him along, so the elderly and very polite lady could continue.
But the rest of what you said. Fuck you man, grow up.
@JJR19954@YesterdaysBrit1@ghost_wales Because it was no where near as hot as it is today. Repeat 1976 again now and it wouldn't even make the top 10 hottest.
I've said it multiple times but can people please stop talking about 19 fucking 76. Bunch of daily mail GB news brainwashed idiots.
@Nuke_The_Site@MrMatthewTodd Adapt to no food.
Adapt to no fresh water.
Adapt to wet bulb temperatures.
Once we've mastered all that, maybe then we'll be ready to live on Mars!
@hrryyclifford@SteveRoss66 I was up a mast near Basingstoke when it hit 40, 4 years ago. Was unsafe conditions to climb after 11am. Also saw a grass verge on fire (mini wildfire), a fallen tree that had been supported by tarmac, had melted. Still got the tarmac stains on my sandals!
@MrMatthewTodd I think we started living some kind of hellish blackmirror reality, in the last 10 years or so, where absolutely everything now doesn't make any sense.
@WorldWatchers72@volcaholic1 What a wierd take.
"You guys", also strange point of view, considering we all live on the same planet, all suffering the consequences of AGW, but whatever.
@NickJF75@ThermoConveyor I'm thinking of adding these to mine. I added a pergola which has helped reduce the overall temperature inside the house by at least 5 degrees.
I recommend a decent silent ceiling fan. Anyone who says ceiling fans just push hot air around are fools!
