Laptop buyers: Beware @Lenovo#Thinkpads. They're pushing out BIOS updates that incapacitate machines that are just past warranty, then refuse to pay the $900 repair bills. #LenovoSucks#Ripoffs#ScamAlert
@goingplacesCLE : What's with the super-long, slowwww lines at TSA Pre today? Is this another lame attempt to get more sign-ups for the flawed CLEAR program? If so, what's your cut? CLE airport just gets worse and worse ...
@LenovoSupport The machine is โ surprise! โ past warranty. This fact remains: warranty or no warranty your laptop is inoperable *after only 15 months* !!
@LenovoSupport@Lenovo: Thanks for pushing a 'BIOS' update that immediately and completely disabled my 15-month-old ThinkPad. $750 for the part, $150 for labor. No thanks! Never buying Lenovo again and will warn everyone I know away from you
@LenovoSupport Yes, at the direction of Lenovo support I took my laptop to a "Lenovo business partner" (MicroCenter) and was told a new systems board part would cost $750 plus $150 labor. Shortest shelf life I've ever had in a PC in almost 40 years!!
@MrSuitCLE@_ScatRecords@jrfrsn@davidgiffels@scottpickss@johnpetkovic My band The Silence played in that very era and we had major-label interest. How did we survive? Songs. Sample: https://t.co/1fUbeaFLqP It was a good scene then and deserved more recognition than it's received.
@astro_kimbrough@NASAglenn@Space_Station Really makes you see what a gigantic waste of lakefront Burke Lakefront Airport is. The space it takes dwarfs that of First Energy Stadium and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Amazing what great #journalism and #writing can achieve, even amid the alleged death of print. To paraphrase an old Robin Williams line: Quality โ what a concept.
.@TheAtlantic's total paid circulation now tops 833,000, the highest it has ever been. In 1908 we had 5,000 subscribers, so things are comparatively peachy now.

Half the country minus 16 percentage points. There -- fixed it, Metaxas. Enough with the mythology of an evenly divided country.
