There was also a mistrial on his first trial so they went to propose a plea deal to at least get him on something. The plea offered 30 days and the judge doubled that. The child's family did NOT want a second trial

@mbell58 @Mericamemed $20/hr isn't the full cost of hiring someone. They have ss & medicare taxes, insurances, and other benefits equaling to around $7/hr per employee. They also have uniform costs, workers comp, retirement, training, payroll costs.
