🚨 Hwang Jung-min Controversy Grows… Accuser Says Statement Is Coming
The controversy surrounding actor Hwang Jung-min continues to escalate after the individual making the allegations reportedly contacted not only the Korean production team but also the North American distributor of his upcoming film Hope.
According to reports, the distributor requested clarification, and the production company responded by explaining that Hwang had previously filed legal action and that a court had recognized stalking-related allegations against the accuser.
The film's production and distribution companies also stated that the accuser repeatedly sent emails to business partners and posted edited content on social media, calling the actions disruptive to the film's production and promotion.
Meanwhile, the accuser maintains their claims and said they are currently preparing an official statement with legal counsel.
As both sides continue to present conflicting accounts, the facts are expected to be determined through ongoing legal proceedings and future official statements.

The Korean film industry might finally have a box office hit on its hands.
Director Jang Hang-jun’s film “The Man Who Lives with the King” has surpassed 5.26 million viewers and is now being discussed as a potential 10-million-ticket blockbuster.
The film focuses on the exiled King Danjong and his final days in Yeongwol, shifting attention away from the usual royal power struggles and instead highlighting the emotional story of exile. Combined with Jang’s signature warm and character-driven directing style, the movie has struck a chord with audiences and is gaining strong word of mouth.
But here’s the twist.
Jang Hang-jun once made a bold (and slightly reckless) promise. During a radio appearance last month, he joked that if the movie reached 10 million viewers, he would:
Change his phone number
Change his name
Get plastic surgery
And even consider changing his nationality so no one could recognize him
At the time, it sounded like harmless humor.
Now? Not so much.
As the film’s momentum continues, online communities have started resurfacing his “10-million pledge,” with netizens joking:
“Is he really going to go through with it?”
“Why plastic surgery though?”
“Poor Kim Eun-hee (his wife)!”
Whether or not the film actually reaches 10 million, one thing is clear:
If it does, the public will be watching not just the box office numbers — but also whether Jang Hang-jun keeps his word.
At this point, the promise itself might become the second biggest story of the film’s success.
