The Gov can't include 1.7T in a budget to pay itself back.
Don't consider it a loss either, money for education serves society.

As we all know, it won't cost anything to cancel the debt so it doesn't need to be in the budget.

@KimTownsel Intent of legislators in 1965 seems to be the argument. Pelosi & her "postpone or delay", word changes don't cut it.
The writing is not ambiguous & can't be changed to suit her liking or anyone else's.
Intent of law is as it's written, they did a pretty good job making it clear!
